he said line good sigh he do phone line cable short cut to join cable not whole new cable
2hours technical sit my house to doing testing he doing speedtest he said speed good 1.01mb
sigh i tested i got speed 1.03mb only but not 1.40mb sigh
i tell him aug and septher internet very good fast we can get 1.45mb or 1.40mb
october and noverber speed very bad

You're not the only one who are facing that kind of situation...
Do you notice recently, lots of post from other 1Mbps user also stated the same things...
TM has imposed the 'should-be' speed for most of the 1Mbps user since two months ago...
And yes, you're paid for 1Mbps, and that what you should get.... Honeymoon time is over (what I mean by honeymoon time is when you got the 1.5Mbps speed)...
Perhaps TM wants to "force" the user to upgrade to Unifi eventhough Unifi only cover specific amount of area in Malaysia.. Personally, if that's what TM intend to do, for me, It's really unfair for all of the Streamyx user....

I thought I was the only one. From 1.5mb, and now just 800-900 kbps.

i also experiencing a slow browse and download from my 4mb streamyx.. but guys, its a bit unfair to tm also if we subscribe to 1mb but hoping for 1.5mb.. actually for current infra, if it could get 1mb is fair enuff because u need to calculate also the signal loss due to the old cable.. 10% +- is acceptable for me. i paid for 4mb, i got 3.8mb most of the time although got to 4.3mb at times.. we get for what we paid. but if sign up for 1mb but only only got 10 or 20 kBps then is time to rage the tm..

There are still some using able to get 1.5Mbps instead of their subscribed 1Mbps, a bit of an oddity. If you call them up and tell them you want to be capped at that speed, since no issues and get what you subscribed, it is not an 'issue' to be fixed.

Currently fine with my connection, steady around 120-124kbps, P2P. I P2P all the time and it averages at that speed. Touch wood, not facing any connectivity issues. Everything loads just fine even Youtube.

well.. in my case even more worse.. i been use 1mbps for more than 5year.. at that time it was RM88 offer ma.. until now still paid RM88.. want to upgrade but no coverage they says.. i been download load move n game but my speed never ever reach more than 200kbps u know.. i alredi make soooo damn much complain until even now still ma.. but there nothing i get.. mang whathefish is this.. my download also still never reach 200kbps.. i also even change new latest modem to.. but nothing mang.. heyy streamyx.. what r u guy trying to do hah..

hmmm i've seen a speedy download of 500mb plus files with 200kb more with my 1mb line just in the morning...but later all capped to below 50kb....why ar?

Yea my latency to US has been doubled

200kbps on a 1Mbps line? I think during the happy days it was for max 170kbps. Now it is 120kbps. Supposedly it should be around that for a 1Mbps line.

I am *never going to Unifi. My area has coverage for Unifi as well as upgrading Streamyx. My I am not going to budge my RM88.

RM88 is perfectly fine. As long as I am able to P2P, YouTube, Facebook, Hotmail, Twitter, Lowyat, and of course get updates for my system, Internet is good.

I don't/rarely download from file upload sites so it's fine for me.

*Never = well, if the package prices drop and the 2-year contract becomes 1-year then I will think about thinking about wanting to think about Unifi
