If engine oil leak try to source what the problem is. If ur exhaust got white smoke, try replacing the valve seal. Could be one of the problem that caused the oil to leak. For the belting issue, just tighten back the belting and spray some WD40. Should be ok then.
*
Not recommended WD40 as it dries up faster...use Silicone spray instead...

Im using Full Syn without any issues except my style of driving will cause me to change lube every 5k doh.gif

That's what actually will happen if your ego is too big and dont want to lose against Pariah Malaysian car...

Hope that the Swift driver is ok though...

We never race and he is the one tried to drive aggressively and reluctant to let me overtook him in the first place..

That part of the road actually 'ate' alot of cars already...at least one or two cars in a month...my ex office just in front of the corner...

ok.. then if i buy vr4 servo, str8 plug and play, then how bout those honda integra/accord 1? dual layer also? how much does those cost? i asked my fren, he said vr4 servo kinda hard to find liao.. sad.gif
*
There is one fella actually make an extra vacuum air reservoir for the servo which means it acts like Double Layer servo feels...

Just go to 4G1series forum and try to find out more about it. I believed they can even let you test drive their cars with or without the reservoir...

It only costs RM120 with installation....

and in fact, if you know how it actually works you can even DIY biggrin.gif

Can I know is it possible to maybe tune the carburetor to save more fuel?

Anyone using any product to reduce FC? Mind sharing?
*
Best device is your right foot...

And by reducing fuel mixture (lean) MIGHT cause damage to the engine in the long run if you like to high rev. not to mention lost of power as well...

Suggestion is to get your AFR to STOICH and control your right foot wink.gif

QUOTE(sinister_sid @ Jul 22 2011, 08:46 PM)
the zth 1 sound promising
a thing about so called "racing mount"
racing mount in usa is those billet item without bush , solid mount use in drag , circuit racing
racing mount in malaysia is the bush inside is full filled by a single rubber not like oem is a half piece then covered by another piece
use front and back fully rubber aka local's meaning of racing mount and side use oem style
front and back tend to wear out faster
i been using local racing mounting for front crossmember only , where got vibration
vibration means ur engine something wrong d
Not sure what is your expectation is but i've seen few cars installed such mounting (full rubber) aka racing mounting here in M'sia removed it just after days or weeks of using...

One fella from 4G1s installed both front and rear and his car shakes like hell not to mention the noise because of the cam (overlap intake n exhaust gases)....perhaps after you install performance cam, you will notice it more...

Even only by removing the rear is not enough, in the end sold it to someone in our forum as well. can't remember who was it...

Full rubber mounting is not those so called "Resing" mounting laa. Name only. There are other material which can also describe as "Resing" mounting here in Malaysia. PU (polyurethane), Teflon, Nylon, Billet, Harden Aluminum and many more aftermarket engine mounting. Those normal "fully" solid rubber mountings uses the same material as our OEM mounting only which is still "Rubber".

I find that the diffrnt between both is the fully rubber type absorbs and holds the engine better during hard shifting or flat shifting. It helps reduce the engine's movement from rocking too hard/roughly especially for those who likes too "tarik pickup" and upshift or downshift quickly.

From my humble experience, I've been using it for more thn 2yrs on my heavy engine with abusive driving most of the time, so far.... there is NO such thing as "gegar" like hell, engine pecah into two or vibrate till ur penis drop. U all can come and have a look at mounting still nice2 and bulat2 sweat.gif

Maybe that ONE fella from 4G1s car engine is having sum other problem not related to the "resing" engine mounting??? And there are many more car owner's in Malaysia running on solid mounting for their daily driven workhorse. Even Nissan G.Livina's mountings are fully rubber which is a family MPV hmm.gif
*
Resing mounting is what ppl call la over 'here'. No need to go far2, just go to SIC there see what their selling thread describe such mounting doh.gif

Our member's here might be confused so i just call what us ppl normally call such mounting la...

Ya your car chassis is really in 'healthy' condition right..no issues @ all right whistling.gif

If im not mistaken he is not using fully rubber type but PU like Super Pro. Cost nearly RM3xx per set i believed...

And as i said earlier, every people have different expectations..Most people if not all see little vibration on their dashboard is annoying, some might say it is ok. So if you expect to have vibration free, just use normal OEM mounting.

Every car oso will have those "Chassis problem" faham2 sudah lor... U x pernah accident this bad. Bolt mounting patah punya case itu bolt punya pasang lor... Then like dat my Livina punya chassis gonna crack anytime soon izzit??? :huah:

The only vibration free engine is when its not running.  tongue.gif
*
Older malaysian cars like ours is not known for it's chassis rigidity, so vibration is common especially if your car is already more than 5 years old. That's why i mentioned that using solid rubber mounting is not recommended unless you willing to bear with vibration no matter it is little or stronger...

As for other car models that uses solid rubber mounting like your Livina, of course the manufacturer already re-engineered their chassis to suit such mountings. Tak kan they just installed such mounting for fooks on their cars without considering the consequences of it..

As for Proton, they already know that the chassis are not that strong hence used less solid material...but STILL in the end of the day, it still vibrates when the car gets older...

I know some models like the 89 corolla and Nissan 130y do not have much vibration even the car is already more than 15 years old..their chassis is really KERAS unlike our Proton....

I can't believe la if there is no slight vibration @ all on most older model of Proton cars especially during cold start or idle below 800rpm...

Btw, im planning to change to solid rubber mounting as well before the track day whistling.gif but i think that will make my car vibrate much worse tongue.gif

Carbie cars don't have CAT Converter la...why? The amount of pollution is high hence the CAT CON will get spoilt easily lol...

Carbon deposits will destroy the cat con faster on carbie cars compared to EFI

If done properly on 4G15 block...yes it's really reliable..

But also make sure you have bigger radiator once upgraded..

I'm having issue with my LMST cooling. Noticed that whenever I drive on highway 140km/h - 180km/h (revving constantly more than 4k), my temperature bar increase from 3 to 4, sometimes even light blinking.

Is this common or is there a problem with my coolant / radiator system?
Can our 4G13 engine stand high speed & high rev running for long durations?
*
Radiator need servicing...

4/10

Clean and nice interior but not using good ICE. Exterior stock so less score there as well..

Performance, i guess stock as well....

Saga LMST is not 'ngam' to become comfort car if you ask me...too much plastics, bad NVH, vibrate too much as well...

Mind you i own one as well and i am more towards performance side then comfort. I rather use my meevee for that purpose...

doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

10 / 10 criteria for what? Performance only? Looks only? Whole package?

Sorry to say this but by just balut the whole seat with leather would not make your car more 'keng'. Comfortable maybe yes for unker and aunties but not for petrol head like some of us here...

Using SONY player and sony speakers? You go to the ICE forum here in LYN, see how they going to 'praise' your friend's ICE system laugh.gif

No doubt your friend's car is neat and clean but it doesn't deserve higher marks on looks alone. I am generous to give 4. Others will either give 1 or 2 only...

I break it down futher...

2 for performance (power + handling)
4 for nice and neat looks
3 for ICE

I have more or less same score with above except for performance tongue.gif
