hi guys,

today i went to a big tayar shop at around pj for wheel rotation, alignment and balancing for the city .

however the tayar specialist told me two things

1. "front wheel round already"
- he recommend changing tayar. front only if no money
- my car milage is only 20k, perhaps my mistake of not rotating at first 10k

2. " the car pulls to the left, need to add chamber "
- apparently honda city front chamber are not align-able, need to pay workmanship and chamber kit (rm 130)

Has anyone experienced it b4? is it true that i need to add in a chamber kit for the front?

Unless you have hit something real bad you do not need to do alignment for camber. I did my alignment at the Honda SC and have never had to do camber adjustment. In addition the alignment cost is RM60 for front and back. I suggest you take it to Honda SC to get a second opinion.

Mine going to be 30k, still lots of thread, anyway, I'll change the tyres by next year, for safety purpose. Continental sidewall is really soft.

ic. i find that continental tayar is not bad already. considered the brand itself. i am surprised the tayar of my NHC (stock continental) is quite much lower comparing to my honda insight. (stock bridgestone) when speed above 110km/hr

Can you eloborate on this? what you mean by disable the key slot function?
*
basically u need to un-attach a thin rod that connect the key slot to the lock.. key slot is still there, but it is unusable.. if u turn key to right, boot will open right? but nothing happen after u un-attach the rod..

20k and tayar botak? how old is ur car?

mine is 7 months, reaching 20k soon, gonna be rotating it this month after service

normally u either dont rotate, just use till finish - and change front 2(cheaper)

or u rotate and ensure equal usage on all wheels then when u change - u change all 4(expensive)

it is correct what. rm2.5k extra comparing to OTR price for both E spec and SE.

anyway, it is worth it as it comes with full modulo bodykit + solar film.

rclxms.gif

those who just got their NHC within these 1-2 mths will definitely be upset.

Hey guys, just wondering.

My car is due for the major service which is the 40k KM mark. The cost based on the website is about Rm785.

Just wondering what do they normally change for this so called 'major service'?
