not sure what is the fuss about a Man Utd's fan buying a Liverpool vs Malaysia ticket. Just ask yourself this question. How many of us have the chance to go England just to watch a Premier League team play in their own turf?

When any Premier League teams come I m sure no matter who you support but if you enjoy watching football of coz you wouldnt want to miss this opportunity to watch it LIVE in the stadium

I m going with a few Man Utd's fans, Chelsea's fans and Liverpool's fans. I just dont see what it is the big fuss about it. See you guys over there. I will be hoping to see a lot of Liv's banner as I will be in the blue gate and I know most of the die hard fans is having a green ticket

I am going with an arsenal fan too.(how hypocritical of me blush.gif )

But when i see the clamour for tickets among liverpool fans its just unbelievable.

Even the grandstand was extended affecting the 108 seats.U dont see this problem with che and ars.

Che and ars tickets are still selling despite being on market earlier than us.

Liverpool FC is for liverpool fans only.i got requests from penang and far away places to help them buy tickets.

Likewise. I understand if touts do it but as Liverpool fans, we really should be helping one another get tickets. JonC helped by buying 20 tickets with his credit card without charging extra. I had to by 12 with cash before even collecting anything from fans that wanted tickets. Thankfully, parking my ass outside of Adidas on the first day of public sales for 3 hrs paid off.

We do have a large number of dedicated and passionate fans but every now and then you'll come across one like a colleague of mine. Claims he's Scouse - sesat. Also, wears our jersey every other day and all. Problem is he couldn't even pronounce Mereiles!

I just went pass Nike shop, Arsenal RM108 was displayed sold out. I think Liverpool will come again in few years time as the support they receive is huge.

I m not sure bout this but do correct me if I m wrong.

This is the first time for Liverpool team to travel to Malaysia so I guess this is the first time for most of the Malaysian Liverpool's fans to watch them. Who will want to miss this opportunity to meet their favourite team?

PS: Thanks to my friend (a Man Utd supporter and SC card holder) to get me the training pass and tickets for this match. If not because of him I would definitely find it hard to get the training pass.

A more detailed view of the famous Boot Room
"It started initially with Joe and I as somewhere we could talk and air our views and, on match days, as a place to have a drink with visiting managers and backroom staff. We tried to win every game, but no matter how the match was, we liked to relax afterwards and have a drink with the opposition. Just talking about the game is a most interesting aspect of football. On Sunday mornings we'd go in and talk about the Saturday game. There were differing opinions and disagreements and everyone put their oar in. But it was all done in the right manner. We liked everyone to air their views and you probably got a more wide-ranging discussion in the Boot room than you would in the boardroom. But nothing spilled out of there. What went on was within these four walls. There was a certain mystique about the place, which I also believe there should be about the dressing room. What's said in there should, by and large, be private too."

this boot room just like we having a teh tarik at kedai mamak? more relaxing on giving idea, comments? i thought it where the players have their locker or what...?

After the 7-0 win vs Spurs
"This result won't help us next week.
In fact, we'd rather have brickbats than praise. We seem to thrive on that sort of thing."

that was really killing my mindset. This results wont help us next week!! Which is very true!!

The Boot Room was just that, a boot room but Shankly used it for informal meetings with his coaching staff including Paisley and Fagan. It has since been removed, no thanks in part to Greame Souness but with the re-appointment of Kenny Dalglish, it can be said that the culture still lives on. Liverpool had for a long time, been a club that promotes from within. Shankly - Paisley - Fagan - Dalglish - Souness - Evans but that all stopped when we appointed Gerard Houllier as manager and Rafa Benitez after him. However, former players were not far away. Houllier had Phil Thompson and Sammy Lee, while Rafa later rehired Sammy Lee who had a less than successful spell as manager of Bolton.

You're right. The more dumbasses there are around, the better it is for us. What's even dumber is I have actually stated that I do get information from the net. I like debates, I just wish the sissy would kick his intelligence dial up a few notches.
