On the contrary, it was a Liverpool training session. The Harimau Malaya one was earlier which I attended as well.

From the perspective of a Liverpool fan, I think that everyone in a red shirt deserves the same amount of respect especially when we were given the same when we visited their country. I know Singaporean Reds and they are good lads. It wasn't about Singaporean Reds vs. Thai Reds vs. Indonesian Reds vs. Malaysian Reds. It was about all Liverpool fans going to watch the team train, the same team we all support. We can't preach about solidarity and sing YNWA when we isolate sections of fans. In the context of Harimau Malaya, should it matter if you're a fan from Terengganu or Kelantan, or should you forget your rivalry for one day to unite under 1 banner?

Thats depends on the situation. What will be the response at Anfield if the PA system, as a horst to a England match, welcomes england's supporting party from Manchester hmm.gif

In terms of the guy that got picked on, I did sympathise until I heard he was goading fans in the first place. Do the crime, do the time. It would be cowardly for a crowd to beat up a guy but like I said, there was no violence.

In terms of tomorrow's match, there is no ideal situation so I can't give you an answer. You get fans who boo Liverpool players as well e.g. Poulsen. One can only hope that in general, common sense prevails but you can't expect everyone to conform to your ideals.
*
the solitary fan also did not conform to your ideals. But your liverpool fans gang up to do something about it. From what i hear he is not badmouthing liverpool. he was just showing his guts to kiss his shirt badge in a Liverpool crowd.

i cant imagine what happen to him if he badmouth Liverpool team.

What if the Singaporean and Indonesian fans badmouth MALAYSIA?

the Singaporean public is hardly allowed to vocally support their team in the stadium. What will they think of us if they are allowed to curse our team at ours?

The least i expect from you is that eventhough you receive the OOTs as guest, please remind them of their position as guest and you are not having it if they do any gesture to undermine our national team..

the worst i expect is for you to join them booing our national team also.

Well deliberately winding up and goading rival fans at a rival related event isn't exactly a very smart thing to do in the first place innit?.Meh petty issues anyway,a li'l fun banter here and there and no harm was done..people are blowing the whole incident way out of proportion tbh.
