This my 2nd week joining the gym and i have been trying out weights and stuff. I heard that you are suppose to feel pain the next morning after workout so you know that you have pushed yourself. But somehow no matter how hard i push myself my muscle doesnt seem to hurt AT ALL. Yea it does hurt a while after workout and my arms get worn out. Is this normal?

You're doing it wrong. Check out the routines in the stickies, but usually per bodypart do 3 to 4 exercises, try to reach failure in the last sets and keep adding weight as you progress as often as possible

Check on your form also. You must first feel the pump during the exercise, then only you can feel the soreness in the next 2 days.
As a newbie I will advise not to use machine at all. Use dumbbells and barbells.
