I wonder what the heck Flit has done on mobile suit design all the years??? He is a high level commander of federation and yet after after 25 years the Fed's MS are so lame... the same goes to Vegan, their latest MS lose to something that was made two-and-a-half decades ago, pilot by an amateur... Feel like F-22 get owned by F-5.

uh vagas did say flit constantly upgrade the AGE-1 so is basically better when it 1st appear
but i don noe how much

Well from the conversation between Flit and his aide, they have Adele (mass-produced AGE-1) ready for combat already. And eventhough AGE-1 is outdated, but it was built with the best material and technology available at that time, plus improvement throughout 25 years. Dorado is still a mass-produced unit, so the built might not be as sturdy as AGE-1. And I'm pretty sure Dorado plots are those mindless (seemingly) ppl back in ep 15

Not necessarily true... Chaos (piloted by Sting Oakley) was defeated by 3 Murasames. Blue Duel defeated by Kerberos BuCue. Verde Buster defeated by DSSD Astrays. In fact I can't find grunt unit piloted by nameless pilot won against gundam in UC.

edited above lol. Basically i can't find one in UC, but in AU they exist. Grunts in AU actually are better equipped than grunts in UC, but the Gundams in AU are stronger. For example, GiNN is actually ZAFT mainstay unit, but it is more agile and can jump (they can fly in colonies which has weaker gravity) higher than Zaku II (which is the mainstay unit for Zeon in 0079), and they can be equipped with anti-ship missiles and beam cannon (aside from machine gun and bazooka). But then Strike Gundam (protagonist Gundam in Seed) has PS armor that can render physical attack useless, several packs that greatly boosted its capabilities, not to mention piloted by a very good pilot (for a beginner). In 00 the grunt units can even transform.

Okay that makes me wonder.

AGE device is a key to activate the Gundam.

But the AGE device was initially a device that passed down from Flit's mom to Flit. But the gundam was build by Flit himself after he got the device.

So why bother put it as a key, unless there is other gundam during his mom era and the key is actually to activate the said Gundam (assuming that the picture of the 'white knight' that Flit saw when he was a chid is not a gundam, but just a legend /fairy tale told during ancient time).
