Hahah hard, coz most of the time the enemy side outnumbered them by a lot. I think in most of the Gundam series where the Gundam is actually not that overpowered, their side and the enemy side actually almost equal in terms of military strength

In Seed (not Destiny) eventhough Lacus' forces consists of several factions, ZAFT and EF forces are still larger than them. And in Destiny, ZAFT also got 2 equally-powerful Gundam

The story iinm will cover 3 generations, so that kid now most probably will grow up later

Well from the conversation between Flit and his aide, they have Adele (mass-produced AGE-1) ready for combat already. And eventhough AGE-1 is outdated, but it was built with the best material and technology available at that time, plus improvement throughout 25 years. Dorado is still a mass-produced unit, so the built might not be as sturdy as AGE-1. And I'm pretty sure Dorado plots are those mindless (seemingly) ppl back in ep 15

Not necessarily true... Chaos (piloted by Sting Oakley) was defeated by 3 Murasames. Blue Duel defeated by Kerberos BuCue. Verde Buster defeated by DSSD Astrays. In fact I can't find grunt unit piloted by nameless pilot won against gundam in UC.

edited above lol. Basically i can't find one in UC, but in AU they exist. Grunts in AU actually are better equipped than grunts in UC, but the Gundams in AU are stronger. For example, GiNN is actually ZAFT mainstay unit, but it is more agile and can jump (they can fly in colonies which has weaker gravity) higher than Zaku II (which is the mainstay unit for Zeon in 0079), and they can be equipped with anti-ship missiles and beam cannon (aside from machine gun and bazooka). But then Strike Gundam (protagonist Gundam in Seed) has PS armor that can render physical attack useless, several packs that greatly boosted its capabilities, not to mention piloted by a very good pilot (for a beginner). In 00 the grunt units can even transform.

Well the Gundam actually was built around the AGE device i.e. it was built to act as a body so that the AGE device can collect data to produce better weapon and equipment. I guess he's thinking : since we built gundam to enable AGE device to collect data, why don't we make it as the key also?

Haha Earth Federation grunt that is Veigan grunts do improve significantly (like Dorado which have anti-beam coating on both hands and more agile than the previous Gaffran)

Hmm someone over randomc also predicted some darker story;
- 3rd gen main character's age is 13, which is even younger than Flit and Asemu
- Flit lost her mother at early age, prompting him to be a Gundam engineer (and pilot soon after) at early age
- so, since 3rd gen character is very young when he received the Gundam, something bad must have happened to Asemu, or worst, to almost the entire Asuno family

1st gen - follow 0079
2nd gen - somewhat like hybrid of Seed (Asemu x Zeheart) and Seed Destiny (formal Gundam pilot-esque)

So maybe 3rd gen follow V? Vagan maybe managed to invade Earth, similar to how Zanscare Empire in V did
