Warez-BB.org

Movie2k.to

MegaVideo.com

PutLocker.com

DuckLoad.com

Menurut SKMM lagi pihaknya telah memaklumkan penyekatan ini kepada pemegang lesen yang berkenaan dan tindakan sedang diambil secara berperingkat.

Then just do what they usually do, delete those links to valid illegal stuff on file hosting sites. If can't keep up, why don't you hire anyone to keep eye on the forum and blogspot sites that have illegal stuff links? File hosting site are really useful, not just for illegal stuff. If this really happen, then Unifi and all other high speed broadband will just loss most of their customers. We can go back to dial up, or slow internet bandwidth. Cheap, just enough for emails. Facebook also can block, why? Cos privacy and people's voice raging towards government = dangerous to public. Then block also forums like LYN and /k, also other blogspot sites. Why? Dangerous threats. Racism being brought up by users. Dangerous. THAT! And government being criticized and blamed, flamed, and such. DANGEROUS TO GOVERNMENT AND PEACE. BLOCK THEM ALL.

No Such Thing As 'Internet' In Malaysia

Less customer = good for me. Less idiots.
Anyway as for govt, sure I've seen myself one person quite high up having those files. But do they download them in the office? No. Just with private corporation, they have firewalls. Think they can go to all those websites in the first place? I may not know if they do block or not, but torrents are certainly out of the picture.

With all that said, just because the EMPLOYEES are doing illegal shit, that gives you permission to do so?

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Jun 10 2011, 01:33 AM)
That's why they should ban the internet. Google should shut down as well as they are the search engine and we know everyone uses them for piracy as well.
*
Another idiotic comparison. How does Google have anything to do with piracy? They're just a search engine that index links automatically. Do they promote piracy? No. Heck if I recall there was a news Google was called to actually block some piracy shit. Not from it searches though. I think it was filtering for their new quick search or something.

The point is, Google is not related directly to piracy, those sites are. They are either the link provider or the file provider themselves. BIG difference there. File hoster not deliberately and as far as I know, they will take down few files that probably was reported. But having mainly used for piracy here in Malaysia doesn't exactly bode well with service providers.

QUOTE(warez @ Jun 10 2011, 01:54 AM)
How can you confirm that people do illegal stuff with it? You track them? Logs them?
Speak about piracy why don't they catch those pirate seller? Cause government receive enough money from them that's why no action taken?
*
You are in denial. Tell me the good usages of those file hoster other than getting illegal pirated products? I see one person exchanging files from colleagues but how many people actually work with that big size of files on a daily basis? Go to the premium account seller thread. Ask ANYONE in that thread what are they using it for. I'm sure you'll have a hard time finding one with legal usage.

The SKMM is accusing file hosts such as Megaupload and Fileserve as being illegal sites that breach copyrights? Wow, that's some serious accusations. Or it is illegal to store files online according to Malaysian law?

File hosts by nature aren't illegal, it's their users that are abusing their rights. Hosts can't be held responsible for what their users do. This is blanket bombing, instead of going for the uploaders responsible, they opt to block out the entire community. Why not block all ISPs altogether since it's obvious they and the file hosts are similar in position? doh.gif

hypocrites spotted. stop trying to defend this bill.

seriously whatever@!$nova thing, can i catch u and put u into jail just because u live near a red light district?

of course not. that's common sense. no matter how many ppl around u use downloading sites as piracy, u dont involve innocent corporations who really use them for legal purpose by blindly blocking everything filehost-related.

and of course we can't find ppl in lowyat using them legally in those threads, they are just normal users. if u r a corporate user using megaupload to share files, will u come lowyat buy acc? funny.

Google indexes searches and if you see in their search suggestion, some words that are related to piracy is censored. It's the people who uses it, so don't blame the provider.

There's a lot more stuff to do, piracy aside. For example, backups. Most of the file hosting service are made on this.

Nuff said,

"Kerana nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga"

And I don't get you, which file hoster/provider isn't legal?
It's the user fault at utilizing them the wrong way, and just because of that the site was taken down?

That's the mentality of Malaysian.

People that are supporting this are obviously in the same prejudgment mindset as SKMM. File hosts = illegal just as P2P = illegal.

they don't care, SKMM is prolly only being directed by TM/gomen to issue this order. so that they no need to pay more in acquiring global bandwidth and they can continue to oversell their unifi/screamyx.
