Not really, if you have the SHSH Blob saved for older FW from your iPad you can downgrade to the specific FW of the SHSH Blob. As a reminder, SHSH Blobs are unique to the device itself where you can't share them to another device and it can only be save before Apple server stop signing that particular FW version on your device.

Nope, you can only jailbreak your iPad 2 wth JailbreakMe 3.0 if you are with 4.3.3 FW. Apple have stop signing 4.3.3 FW and without the stated FW SHSH Blob you have no way to upgrade your iPad 2.

There's another application by the name "iFaith"(for A4 devices only and iPad2 and iPhone 4S not supported) can save your SHSH Blob as well. And with are not "SIFU", we are just here to share our experienced and knowledge.. rolleyes.gif

You can't JB your iPad 2 with iOS 4.3.5, let alone iOS 5 or 5.0.1.

It was already clearly stated that iPad 2, iPhone 4s and iPhone CDMA is not supported.

Frankly, those exploits they found was based on A4 processor but iPad 2 and Iphone 4S is built with A5 processor.

I may agree with you by saving the SHSH for iOS 4.3.3 and 5.0.1 but Apple have long time stop signing for iOS 4.3.3, therefore you can only save the 5.0.1 on your iPad 2 at the moment.

You can only save your iPad 2 SHSH if Apple is still signing on the firmware you installed and at the moment Apple is signing on iOS 5.0.1. Apple no longer signing for iOS 4.3.3 so you are out of luck if you wish to save your SHSH now.

The ipad 1 tethered 5.0.1 Jailbreak is out for sometime while an untethered Jailbreak was heard to be on its way but no one knows when.

Then it's recommended to update your iOS 4.3.5 to 5.0.1, there's a lot of UI improvements.

My itchy finger which caused me losing the 4.3.3 to iOS 5.0.1 last month, anyway not much regret except sometimes still miss SBSsettings and retinapad.

For tabs in iOS 4.3.3 Safari, you can install "Full Screen Safari" from cydia where you can have tabs, gesture for page refresh and gesture for switching between tabs as well.

Not that heard of but I personally don't realy like the split keyboard, it makes the keys smaller and harder to type.

Pod2G has posted a latest video showing that the unthetered Jailbreak is ready for the prime time for all the A4 iDevices (excluding iPad 2 and iPhone 4S) running iOS 5.0.1/5.0. Just waiting for it to release to the public soon, no news for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S yet. sad.gif

ATM, 4.3.5 - 5.0.1 can only be tethered jailbreak for A4 devices but the hackers are working on an untethered jailbreak for 5.0.1 now.

I don't get what you mean by there's an error and you lost all your settings and game saves, didn't you do a backup with iTunes? Thought you could restore the backup settings and your iPad will be like before except with a JB version?

By default the iOS 5.0.1 should have embedded the multi gesture features for iPad 1, go to Settings/General/ MultiGesture and switch toggle to "ON".

I had to check both "Install Cydia" and "Enable multitouch". When I just checked "Enable multitouch" without "Install Cydia", my Cydia can't be opened at all.

FYI, MultiGesture was ported to iPad 1 on iOS 5.0.1(google next time) if you are with the official iOS FW, it's gone after you Jailbreak it with the JB application unless you tick the MT gesture button during the JB process to enable it back on the iOS 5.0.1. doh.gif
