Does newly iPad just bought at this moment can downgrade? Coz is already 4.3.5 or better upgrade to iOS 5 better?
*
iPad 2? If it comes with 4.3.5 the answer is "NO", just upgrade it to iOS 5 to enjoy more features and hope for a Jailbreak for iOS 5. IMHO, I don't think any iPad 2 Jailbreak version for 4.3.5, so no point staying at that version of FW.

Pod2g, an ex-Chronic Dev Team member has found a new exploit for iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. With this untethered iOS 5 exploit discovery, now there are 3 parties including iPhone Dev team, Chronic Dev Team and Pod2g working full force to develop an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 firmware…

Pod2g, ex-Chronic Dev Team member, tweeted out that he has found a bug that will untether jailbreak iOS 5. In case you don’t know Pod2g, he’s the one behind the famous SHAtter exploit that was held back due to Limera1n jailbreak. SHAtter was patched in the A5 devices and therefore, never released.

Before this, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team shared iPhone 4S jailbreak screenshots and a video demo for the iPad 2 Jailbreak on iOS 5. At this point both the iPhone Dev and Chronic Dev teams are at a preliminary step but still a major achievement towards iOS 5 untethered jailbreak.

There’s no ETA for these exploits/bugs, however there are now three well-known parties working on iOS 5 untethered jailbreak which is indeed a great news for the jailbreak community.

Found from a reliable source this morning.

sorry tumpang asking..
1. how long the time for charging IPad2 normally?for first time and also following.

2. what the latest version ios that can be JB 4.3.3 or higher ??pls tell me (for IPad2).
*
1. You can just simply charge it till it reach 100% for the 1st time depends on how much battery left when you unbox it. As for normal, from 0% to 100% will normally took around 4 hours+.

2. For the moment, iPad2 can only be jailbreak at 4.3.3 FW and with only 1 method, Jailbreakme.

thank u ...any problem if i charge 8 hour for first will it effect the battery life?
and usually when is the time to charge ?reach 20% or 0%?
*
I don't think the one time overcharge will do any harm to your brand new iPad, anyway you can refer this thread for more information regarding about the iPad Battery: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1910597

Yep, that's the case for now.
Tumpang tanya, you mentioned that for ipad2 it takes around 4 hours+ for 0% to 100%. Is there a big difference between charging times for ipad1/2?

My Ipad 1 takes around 6-7 hours for 10% -> 100%, charging it with the wall ac power adapter.

Since yours are iPad 1, battery degrading maybe or not that may caused the charging time but there are some tasks that you need to follow in order to preserve the lifespan of your battery. Here are the instruction how to preserve your iPad lifespan and may reduce your iPad charging time taken from Apple website:

Optimize Your Settings
There are a number of iPad settings you can adjust to minimize power consumption and extend battery life, including screen brightness. These tips may help extend your battery life.

Adjust brightness: Managing the screen brightness is the best way to extend iPad battery life. By default, your iPad has Auto-Brightness turned On. Auto-Brightness adjusts iPad screen brightness based on ambient lighting conditions; lowering brightness in low light conditions helps to extend battery life. You can adjust brightness yourself; go to Settings > Brightness & Wallpaper and drag the slider to the left to lower the default screen brightness.

Manage the use of downloaded applications: Use of certain applications, such as games that prevent the screen from dimming or shutting off or applications that use location services, can reduce battery life.

Turn off Wi-Fi: If you know you’re not going to be using Wi-Fi, you can turn it off to save power. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and set Wi-Fi to Off. Note that if you have iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G and use it to browse the web, battery life may be improved by using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data networks.

Turn off 3G (Wi-Fi + 3G model): Using 3G cellular networks when you’re out of range of Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to stay in touch but may also decrease battery life, especially in areas with limited 3G coverage. To disable 3G, from the Home screen choose Settings > Cellular and set Cellular Data to Off. Note: You will no longer be able to send or receive data via a cellular data network.
Use Airplane Mode (Wi-Fi + 3G model) in low- or no-coverage areas: Because your iPad always tries to maintain a connection with a Wi-Fi network or 3G data network (Wi-Fi + 3G model), it may use more power in low- or no-coverage areas. Turning on Airplane Mode can increase battery life in these situations. To turn on Airplane Mode, go to Settings and set Airplane Mode to On.
Minimize use of location services: Applications that actively use location services, such as Maps, may reduce battery life. To disable location services, go to Settings > General > Location Services or use location services only when needed.

Turn off push notifications: Some applications from the App Store use the Apple Push Notification service to alert you of new data. Applications that rely extensively on push notifications (such as instant messaging applications) may decrease battery life. To disable push notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and set Notifications to Off. Note that this does not prevent new data from being received when the application is opened. Also, the Notifications setting will not be visible if you do not have any applications installed that support push notifications.

Fetch new data less frequently: Applications such as Mail can be set to fetch data wirelessly at specific intervals. The more frequently email or other data is fetched, the quicker your battery may drain. To fetch new data manually, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Manually. To increase the fetch interval, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Hourly. Note that this is a global setting and applies to all applications that do not support push services.

Turn off push mail: If you have a push mail account such as Yahoo! or Microsoft Exchange, turn off push when you don’t need it. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and set Push to Off. Messages sent to your push email accounts will now be received on your phone based on the global Fetch setting rather than as they arrive. If the global Fetch setting is set to Manually, you will not be able to locate your iPad using the Find My iPad feature.

Auto-check fewer email accounts: You can save power by checking fewer email accounts. This can be accomplished by turning off an email account or by deleting it. To turn off an account, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose an email account, and set Account to Off. To remove an account, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose an email account, and tap Delete Account.
Lock Your iPad

It may seem obvious, but you should lock your iPad when you aren’t using it. To lock iPad, press the Sleep/Wake button. You can also set the Auto-Lock interval so your iPad will turn off more quickly after a period of inactivity. To set Auto-Lock, go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock and set the interval to a short time, such as 1 minute.

Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

Mind to share what happened? Mine due to the cydia app.
*
I was transferring some files with iFile and accidentally delete some system files where all my default apps which includes "settings" and "cydia" was gone. After some googling and it still can't solved the problem, so I decided to restore it to 5.0.1 which any choice.

Joelles, don't you have the 4.3.3 SHSH?
*
Nope, when I bought my iPad 2 which comes with iOS 4.3.3, Apple have already stop signing that version and all I got in Cydia is just 4.3.5 shsh blob saved. Just have to to wait for a miracle then....lol

With no untethered iOS 5 jailbreak and no jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, many are using iOS 5 settings shortcuts to quickly access iPhone and ipad settings without any need of a jailbreak. Designer Jeff Broderick has created some beautiful icons with pre-made shortcuts to your iPhone iOS 5 settings.
Here's is how it works:

1. Simply point your mobile Safari to: brdrck.me/settings;
2. Tap on the desired Settings icon you want to add to your iPhone home screen;
3. Now choose to Install Shortcut.

Joelles, I'm in the same situation as you were. Had my 4.3.3 SHSH with my 1st iPad 2 but when I sent it in for warranty, they replaced it with a new unit (still on 4.3.3) but during 4.3.5 signing window. So I'm on 4.3.3 without any SHSH so if anything happens, I'm pretty much stuck and will probably be using the same shortcut methods as you are now using.

The 5 exploit that p0sixninja found in IOS5 beta has been closed by Apple (greenpois0n.com) and it's looking like Apple has won the war. The unthetered JB for iPad 2 iPhone 4s on iOS5 ain't happening anytime soon.
*
I guess if you don't mess around with the root files you'll be safe with your 4.3.3 on your iPad 2. I heard MuscleNerd has join Apple as well, so jailbreaking for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S will be slim for the future unless theres a new hacker who have the talent like Comex and MuscleNerd.

Don't use the restoration method, just use the direct update method through iTunes in your pc or Mac and it will work.

if i use ipsw update and restore also got this error 3194 also

Did the iTunes completely download the FW or it stuck in the middle with the 3194 error? If it finish downloading the .ipsw file but still gives you the same error, try restart your iTunes and changer to another USB port.

Ok, this is what I found, if you still encounter the same problem try this:

To fix error 3194....
The new host you added Into the host file needs to be at the TOP
Make sure your host file looks like this:

They need to add it at the top because itunes doesnt realize that there are more than one hosts. It only checks one host and gives you an error such as 3194 or 94. You will need to put the host you added in at the top!!!
like this:

# Copyright © 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com <<< this one needs to be at the top if you have more than one!

In your system drive, go to window/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
Open the hosts file with notepad and saved it once you finish editing the IP.

The purpose of semi-tethered is to enable the iPad to boot up in case you don't have a boot program with you. It may be useless to you but for a tethered jailbreak iPhone adopters, it's a must.
