IF...I mean IF iOS 5 is Jailbreakable for iPad2, you can update directly from your previous FW and there will be instruction for the JB process.

soon i can be able to jailbreak my ipad2?

Frankly, no one can really answer your question at the moment. There are rumours that some hackers found the exploit of the iOS 5 beta and might not be jailbreakable for the official iOS firmware when it's out. We just wait and cross our fingers for the iOS 5 then.

No you can't, SHSH blob is unique to the device itself.

Didn't encounter any prob using the same method jailbreaking with my iPad 2 as well. Since the Hard Reset solved your prob, I think it might be some problem with the preference setting of the iOS and it have been revert back to default by the Hard Reset process.

until today still no way to jailbreak ipad 2 4.3.5?
*
You can have a tethered jailbreak with iPad 1 but for iPad 2, NO. In fact I don't think there's going to have a 4.3.5 jailbreak for iPad 2, we just have to wait and see if there's any possible jailbreak for the incoming iOS 5.

Yes, at the moment you can Jailbreak the latest iOS5 on your iPhone, iPad, Ipodtouch with Redsn0w 0.9.9b4 but it's a tethered Jailbreak. There's yet any news for Jailbreaking the iPhone4s(since it's not out yet) and iPad2.
Do note that iOS5 kills the Multi Gesture features on the First Generation of iPad (Ipad 1), I don't own a iPad 1 so I don't have a chance to test on a tethered JB iPad1 using the iFile method but here's another option to enable it: http://www.pinglio.com/2011/10/how-to-enab...s-on-your-ipad/
Enjoy your iOS 5, cheers.

There's yet any tethered or untethered JB for iOS4.3.5 and iOS5 for iPad2 but you can update to iOS5 to enjoy the new extra features.

guys,  i have a question.  appreciate your advice.

i just bought a 4.3.3 ipad2 but the problem is, i turned on the Passcode and erase data after 10 wrong tries. must have been bad luck that the passcode that I thought I set was not the one I think it is.  long story short, the ipad 2 is not stuck at "restore" or DFU mode.

now, the question is, should I take the plunge and get it updated directly to IO5? or should I pay someone to get it restored to 4.3.3?  thinking of going to lowyat at lunch time to get the Mac Studio to restore it if I can't get someone in lowyat to restore to 4.3.3

in case you are going to ask if I tried restoring it myself, I did try after getting the 4.3.3 ipsw but keep on getting error 3194 every time I do it. tried changing the "hosts" file so that it point and also tried not point to saurik's server.

advice is greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Apple have stop signing for iOS4.3.3, therefore you can't restore back to the 4.3.3 FW version "UNLESS" you have saved the SHSH Blob for your unit.

For those who failed to download the iOS 5 FW through iTunes Update, here's are the direct download link for your specific iDevices:

◦ Downlaod iOs 5 for iPhone 4S – Iphone4,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPhone 4 GSM – iPhone3,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPhone 4 CDMA – iPhone3,3_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPhone 3GS – iPhone2,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPad 1 – iPad1,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPad 2 – iPad 2 WiFi | iPad 2 (GSM) | iPad 2 (CDMA)

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPod Touch 3G – iPod3,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

◦ Download iOS 5 for iPod Touch 4G – iPod4,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw

Just Click on the colored wording for your specific device download and you're good to go. Once complete downloading the .ipsw file, connect your iDevices to the iTunes 10.5 or later and hold down the Shift (Windows) or Alt/Option (Mac) key and hit the restore button on iTunes and select the downloaded IPSW file.

If your iDevices not listed here, it means that it's no longer supported with the latest iOS FW anymore.

I use ur method to upgrade my brother's iPad 2 successfully, but my mistake I forget he purchase documents to go apps and it is gone now !! May I know how can I get it back? Does sign in his account can download the purchased apps again??
*
If your brother have sync and backup his iPad to the iTunes, he can just sign in and do a restoration by assigning the date of the last backup. If he never backup and sync to the iTunes before, just sign in his ID and redownload the apps for free as AppStore already kept the history of all the purchases we made.

Nope, Siri is only designed for iPhone 4S, there's a app named "vlingo" which a lil similar to Siri and it's free in AppStore.

Yes I have read about this earlier, which was tested on a iPhone 4 and the outcome is a bit laggy. Guess it have something to do with the GPU, anyway if they did ported to a other iDevice I think iPad 2 should be the one which working fine.

no JB for 4.3.5.
*
You can only have a tethered Jailbreak for your iPad 1 gen but if you prefer a tethered Jailbreak, better update to the iOS 5 and Tethered Jailbreak it.

For jailbreaking obviously, problem is there isn't any JB available for iPad2 yet >.<
*
There's only one FW version for iPad 2 jailbreak which is 4.3.3, without the SHSH blob you're out of luck. So i suggest you just enjoy the the new official iOS 5 and wait for the iPad 2 iOS 5 jailbreak(hopefully).

Here’s a short video of current JB working on iPad2: http://youtu.be/oJVGl1eRW2A (Just like iPhone4S, lots of hurdles remain, no ETAs). It's yet to be release to the public but MuscleNerd said that it will JB the iPhone 4s as well.

Please becareful with your post, don't contradict the terms of Jailbreaking and Piracy. Jailbreaking is for tweaks where you can customised the iOS UI which you can't do it from the official stock iOS and these tweaks are some free and some paid as well from Cydia. There's so many apps from Appstore which are free and range from $.99 cents(RM3+) as well and as some forumer already stated, if you afford an iPad why can't you afford a RM3+ app? Support the developer as there have sacrifice their time and efforts to build the Apps, so start supporting their efforts.
