Firstly, EM lock is still vulnerable to attempt break in. Nothing is safe! Solenoid has a certain length whereby a "crowbar" can easily jack it and detach the solenoid away from the bracket.

Secondly, every auto-gate system comes with locking mechanism which had led to removal of EM lock usage since it can be prone to wear and tear due to water and rust.

Autogate is just merely a convenient of entering the house without getting out from the car. Safety is close to zero. Thief can always climb in.

These video is just to tarnish the usage of auto-gate.

Where your video?

But EM lock is still better than solenoid. Yes, solenoid can easy push out, my autogate installer told me too.

There are weather proof EM lock.

EM lock and solenoid lock is different. EM lock require constant 12v or 24v to power it... once i cut the cable, there goes the lock.

Solenoid is still better option yet is still not safe.

Weather proof lock is good, is the internal solenoid coil that wears out.

Everything is possible, hence a good installer is a must using GI Flexi is always better, with EM lock is still better than nothing. Of course if want full safety on gate just put a pad lock.

using pad lock just renderer the auto-gate useless.

Always be caution at all time when entering your house is the best bet.

Aside from the gate in the video not having the locking mechanism, the newer gates are harder to pull and push. In any case auto gates are more of a convenience than a safety feature.

I have a question here... Can ppl hack your auto gate signal?

That means they can control your auto gate also...

Yes is possible if you have the time. Unless use code hopping remote.

Buy one oem remote, inside you have 8 dip switch, each dip switch have 3 level (+, 0, -). So you just sit beside the gate play around the combination. So the odd will be 1:6561 to get it correct.
