QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jun 14 2011, 03:14 AM) i read through cm7 xda thread, they said that actually using gingerbread bootloader is ok. just that external sd card cannot be use. and will have better battery life. |

FAQ mentioned memory card issue plus possible unknown side-effects. Since my external SD is critical (secondary backup), I think I will stay with Froyo bootloader. Try and feedback yeah?Added on June 14, 2011, 7:28 am QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jun 14 2011, 03:14 AM) Also, I think there is an 'initial froyo TAR' from the CM7 team. Flash to that using ODIN then on to latest nightly zip saved in the internal sdcard via CWM.Added on June 14, 2011, 7:30 am QUOTE(kevinc318 @ Jun 14 2011, 02:50 AM) ya i saw this momax brand at lowyat for Rm240 also to expensive la. i was woundering about the 3500mah seems to have no brand so not sure how good is it. Dunno about the 3000, 3500 mAh batteries, never tried them.Cheapest source for momax items is shop.momax.net, as far as I know. http://shop.momax.net/?sp=&p=6&cat2=637&ca...=&more=&lang=en Brando Shop also sells the same battery (I think) via their online store. http://shop.brando.com/2700mah-super-batte...5434c193d6.html This post has been edited by kmrdeva: Jun 14 2011, 07:31 AM |

Short review with the F1 JVP Mod v6 after one day use :
things that i like: - Slick and much faster in terms of speed compare to old froyo or last miui rom i test. - Battery life is okay la when idle, i leave it for 10 hours only got 1% drain - Got all the crt screen animation, overscroll glow! superb - Gps lock is okay-okay for me, still dont test the GB gps in the road though. - PvZ gameplay seems dont have much lag compare when i play in froyo. - the signal reception is good. - the rom came with Dark Core kernel which i like cause got implemented voodoo sound. my headphones rock like a rockstar things that i found wierd: - the front face camera pic quality is still not good like the ones in froyo, but much better compare to JVK rom. but when using Tango with my friend ip4, it's not upside down anymore but kinda inverted, like it shows the opposite side ( when it suppose to be right hand, in the pic left hand shows.) they said the quality is okay la, kinda blurry but the voice call is clear. - correct me if im wrong, but i found that GB use a lot of ram. i always got like 230+ ram usage, and when clearing the ram, i only got free 190 ram max. last time on froyo usually i got 140-160 after clearing some ram. - sometimes the TW can be lag as hell, dunno how it happens but usually it occur when or after i install some apps from the market. as for the time now, it only happen to me once. i guess that's it. |
