It really works?

Taken from their website..
http://beta.swype.com/

If your phone came pre-installed with Swype. DO NOT download this beta (it won't work)
*
i am using this since froyo...LOL
and it can work, but u need to delete the pre-installed swype and restart

Got the JVP modem from the MIUI xda-dev forum thread.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...postcount=19984

Download the one named 'cm7-nightly15-radio-JVP.zip' as CM7 nightlies from #15 onwards use a different modem.zip architecture/format.

GPS lock as fast as JVO, if I remember correctly. Power consumption is superb, especially the combination of JVP modem and fugumod kernel.

8 hours of my usual usage, only 25% juice eaten up.

I don't UV or OC. The stock CM7 experience is already too fast for my old man eyes tongue.gif

With fugumod kernel, I notice lower battery consumption and probably slightly slower performance. Not a big issue since even with fugumod, CM7 is way way quicker than any other ROM I have used on my SGS. thumbup.gif
