Got the JVP modem from the MIUI xda-dev forum thread.

Download the one named 'cm7-nightly15-radio-JVP.zip' as CM7 nightlies from #15 onwards use a different modem.zip architecture/format.

nope, just flash it via cwm. wont wipe any data.

Alright. My question is - I can't seem to get my psx4droid emulator to work.
I've done the following procedures:

1) downloaded psx4droid emulator for my SGS I9000
2) downloaded the scph1001.bin file.
3) converted my ROM files to bin format using unecm.ex
4) created folder where I can place my ROM and scph1001.bin
5) specify my BIOS file once I opened my psx4droid

However, whenever I clicked on my ROM, the screen will go black, and then it goes back to the select rom screen.

Anyone know what's the problem?

Yeah, I'm trying fpse now. But need to convert rom to ISO format. However, when I wanna load the iso files, a msg appeared saying ISO corrupted / 2532 sectors/ bytes <--something like this. This is followed by the image Sony Entertainment. Then it hang. Not too sure what  went wrong. You have any idea?

Downloaded it from emuparadise and romhustler. oh? I was thinking that FPse = *.iso format, whereas for pxs4droid = *.bin

your using *.bin for FPse? I'm using spch1001.bin. Downloaded this for pxs4droid. Should be the same for FPse?No? What other bios I can use?

do battery calibration. i switch my another sgs's battery which show 45%on that phone to my cm7 phone the battery show only 17%. after battery calibration battery life become better than before.

EDIT: now already 81v

seriously, no way of getting the battery to last for at least a day?
