I have just got 4 free drinks (including mocha, frappucino etc)in a single visit this afternoon. But need to swipe 4 times for the receipts. Very nice barista at New World Park, Pg.
OMG! Very nice of him or her. It's supposed to be one free drink for a single visit only. This is actually stated in the promotional leaflet thumbup.gif

i think the 2 cards are beneficial to those who normally spend their life on weekends.. good cash rebate and good rewards point from amex.. although the selection for product redemption on maybank treat points are limited compared to soem banks but the treapoints redemption is lower

Sometimes i used up the weekend cash rebate quota on the first weekend. But for this month, i've only charged RM13.95 on weekend and it was for a Starbucks buy 1 free 1 deal biggrin.gif So, i'll get only about RM0.69 cash rebate from Maybank this month sweat.gif

Sometimes i'm not sure if i suddenly need to charge something big to my AMEX on a weekend. So, i always use my Citibank Cash Back VISA Platinum to pay for petrol. Anyway, will pay using my AMEX tomorrow when i go to the petrol station.

Yes. Petrol cash back is capped at only RM30/month while grocery purchases are capped at RM60/month. For all others, the cash back is unlimited. The major downside of the Citibank Cash Back VISA Platinum is that the cash back earned will only be credited back into your account on the next statement after you've reached at least RM50 of cash back shakehead.gif

tq for the explanation

wanna ask u guys, wud u rather use 26k to redeem a smart tag or use it to change to voucher?
realise the points required for smart tag is so expensive as compared to us buying it in cash

wat do u all think?

RRP for ST RM130 + RM10 TnG card, which is the same if you take 10K TP equals RM50. Don't know if you get the TnG card if you exchange points.

Personally I wouldn't bother to get one because the ST lanes on LDP is probably slower than TnG lanes on weekday mornings when the cars with ST issues (disrupting traffic flow) are taken into account.

To claim at Metrojaya, you need to check if Metrojaya is inside the redeem on the spot merchant.

Double pains for me this month, M2GC charges me on the GST and I have forgotten my CIMB DA just reached its 1st year anniversary. So, gotta pay for the GST as well. sad.gif

Seems like to minimise the pain, I'll redeem my 10k TP for my M2GC VISA...

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jul 22 2011, 10:38 AM)
I encountered a problem with this AMEX buy 1 free 1 promotion at a Starbucks outlet in my place last night. I tried to buy a Mocha Ice-blended Frappucino and was told that it is not eligible for the AMEX buy 1 free 1 promotion as the promotion is only applicable for regular coffee and tea drinks only. I did querry them and told them how come it was possible last time. She told me that they received an email from Maybank just very recently that it's only for regular coffee and tea. Anyone faced the same problem ?
*
i Highly Doubt so, last wed i just enjoyed 2 Cups of java chip Ice Blended.... >.< With the price of 1...

So i think it's just that shop that's bs-ing smile.gif

If normal coffee + tea, they gonna get it hard tongue.gif

Addon:

I always just pump petrol only on weekends... Groceries wise, very hard, cos Saturday no Plastic Day, Sunday = sleepy day...

Pump petrol wise, yea... forced to, 4 cars * RM60 each = 240 *4 = RM960. Quite Considerable... smile.gif

But mostly achievable is because of some IT purchases on weekends smile.gif
