QUOTE(vivo1314 @ Oct 16 2012, 10:25 PM) But i thought some bank have cooling period which is 3-6 months period.. Hmmm... Wonder should i just apply online or give a call to the ps who called me for the docs.. wel, some had been successful in applying without applying any cooling off period. so it kinda depends on luck too.

QUOTE(petergui @ Oct 16 2012, 10:42 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I don't know what i can say.Really speechless. Yesterday I've upload my EPF (Latest) and IC (front back) via online when i apply Business Gold Visa card online. But until final review part cannot press submit button to submit and always keep same page after press.I tried Firefox and google chrome also failed to submit.Waste my time in poor webpage.
Today I received a call from SCB for applied online Business Gold Visa card yesterday.First, she asked me if got car loan, housing loan, credit card or not.I just working almost 2 years (at least 30k annual income)but no own car and no own house and no credit card. Thus,I only answer no car loan,no housing load and credit card. Then she requested me provide additional documents i.e. Degree, Diploma certificates.
WTH,PROVIDE Degree, Diploma certificates for what? The above certificates can prove what? Why I still need provide additional documents?I never owe bank money and I able to apply gold card. Is so unreasonable to need Degree, Diploma certificates for 1 gold credit card which is minimum income 24k requirement.
I just want gold only,not platinum card.Why so difficult?Speechless
A few requirements for this card: Age 21 to 65 years old Minimum income requirement Gold / Business Gold Card – Minimum annual income of RM24,000 (Click for other card selection) Platinum / Business Platinum Card – Minimum annual income of RM48,000 (Click for other card selection) Preferred World MasterCard – Minimum annual income of RM72,000 (Click for other card selection) Please note that all credit card applications are subject to the Bank’s approval & credit evaluation. In the event we are unable to issue your preferred credit card type, we will offer you an alternative card. usually this is require for the first credit card application?

QUOTE(Explorer II @ Oct 17 2012, 10:59 AM) Standard Chartered has discontinued issuance of this card. However, those who applied for it when it was launched still hold the card today. By the way, the main feature of this card is that it earns the cardholder cash back up to maximum RM600/year for transaction(s) on Fridays. on transaction on Friday only and up to RM600 max. sounds like the ocbc mastercard platinium (or was it titanium ).

QUOTE(tulip3 @ Oct 18 2012, 06:22 PM) If we submit the application to a PS agent after they call us due to incomplete online application etc, are we entitled for RM300 cash back or just RM200? Are those considered online or agent application? Thank you. those are still considred as online. u can ask the PS agent. its only if u go to their branch and apply thru their personnel then its reduced by RM100.

QUOTE(sochaiapk @ Oct 18 2012, 05:43 PM) Bank cannot check if the person has good repayment history. this was wexperienced by a forummer here i tink sometime ago. he/she only need to furnish the degree cert. this is only applicable for those with their first credit card, if getting a second credit card (from any other bank oso can) then all these nonsense wont happen.
