Just got back from surveying at Celcom blue cubes in The mines, Tesco Ampang, and Wangsa Walk.
By default, they accept credit card, but for smaller blue cube, the refuse to accept credit card and/or preferred for customer to pay cash.

Can someone explain what is the upfront payment for? Is it use to deduct the bills?

I am asking because I don't really see how celcom plan is cheaper the the Digi plan @ Rm53 per month with 200 mins call while i98 only gives 100mins call.

(i98)RM98-(digi)RM53=RM45 x 12months=RM540

Digi iphone = Rm1990
Celcom iPhone = RM1738(including upfront payment)
Difference = Rm252

Celcom user pay Rm252 cheaper for phone but pay extra RM540 over next the 12 months so its RM288 more.

Yah...@RM53 per month with 200mins and 1 GB, i would extend it for 10 years. whistling.gif

Just like a loan...when the interest rate is low, you wanna lock in as long as possible.
