guys, for those who booked on the month of May, when did your SA say the car will be deliver? Mine said September latest October

Dear frustrated Insight soon to be owner, Stephen Cheang from Honda Insight Malaysia Facebook suggest we write to Honda Malaysia collaboratively with the booking forms to nego about the price increment. Anyone interested ?

I also booked my insight at early of may and my SA called me yesterday that i can get my car at the end of this month

no wonder there offered you free windscreen insurance... mine 1 booked at may and i dun think thr will offer this to me.. but i also get 4m free tinted from my SA .. no bad dy !!

If that is the reason. Why don't Honda Malaysia just announced it when they declare the price increment? I think most customer can accept that reasons rather than having everyone guessing?

The official reason is not that.

It's part shortages in japan.

He's just replying to a rumour/news from SA on insight being fitted with civic hybrid batteries bulat bulat causing gomen to hold the cars in port klang due to specification issues??, which I dont think makes much sense..

on the open carpark which i parked my car during work. A new honda civic was stolen. The car around same age as my insight. Dude! this is damn scary man!!

Added on June 9, 2011, 2:30 pmyes, Civic and city top the list of stolen cars.
i was told that a HC receive easily 40-50 stolen cars everymonth.

apparently now Honda is working with Connex to install immobilizer in all cars with certain $$
dunno what is the outcome now.

This morning made a complain to HM, the officer also said this is unusual for waiting 6 months and he will check with the dealer/SA.. 2 hours later, my SA called and told me car will be ready to collect next week.

Congratz! I think the dealer/SA manipulate the order made earlier, glad you complaint to the HQ and pressure the dealer. Your waiting list is far too long...
