y some apps automatically connect to the wifi. can i refuce to let it connect to the wifi?

just make sure you have configure the setting at connectivity --> settings

set it to always ask or as you preferred..

yea i set switch to wlan, manual-data use in home country and abroad to always ask. but it always automatically connect to a connection.

i can think of 2 interpretation.. one is the split screen keyboard that Symbian promised in Anna, another one would be something like the iOS 5 split keyboard, it split the keyboard to 2 half and locate it to both side at the edge of screen so that it would be more natural to type, no need to stretch ur finger to the middle of the screen, but second one is more suitable for bigger screens, so i think is first one...

i think they keep delaying for Anna is to finish the split screen keyboard?

haha..won't gonna happen i think...they never make an effort to do something fancy like that...
i afraid later when meego come out,they leave symbian^3 astray

More & more staff resigning there, so deployment for sure slow lor..Not even Anna, I dun even get any update for PR1.2

your first interpretation is correct. anna does have split screen keyboard. its just that if i enable swype, the split screen keyboard turn to those similar in pr1.1/1.2

anna should be out end of august according to certain sources..i have updated ti 1.2 using phoenix but have not witnessed any major thing yet...better wait for anna

no need to put high hopes...u saw the post saying that ANNA will be out today,,,but not a single hair of ANNA manage to go into your phone..now,it said end of August pulak...no need to wait liao..like i said,after i convo only 1st batch get ANNA in their N8s..then the rest have to wait at least 2 weeks after the 1st batch got theirs..fyi,i'm 2nd batch de

ya u are right, i also very disappointed with nokia now. Thinking to sell it and get an used moto atrix.

Hello frens,

Just got a PINK N8. It's super eye-catching. Everything works very well and learning to utilize many functions of the phone.

Still owning a N900 and almost zero learning curve to pick up the phone. There are many mods info on the first page, any suggestions?

Oh, add me to the PINK club! I don't see owners with Pink color on the intro page. Is it updated?
