my dad is giving me his n8. i have a question how im going to restore the phone to the original state? meaning all the data gone and the setting back to default. i saw that factory reset option but im not sure if it gonna erase all the data in the phone.

dones the new Anna comes with the slide to unlock function like to unlock the screen and answer calls and end alarms?

if i connect a infected pendrive to the n8, will it be infected with virus as well? i heard i wun. but y?
another thing is about the ovi store. if i purchase an app @ rm2 then something wrong with my phone then i send to NCC and the phone got formatted. then if i wan to install the same app again, i have to pay the rm2 again?

When I press the power button I saw an option saying "lock phone" I wonder what is it. Will it lock my phone with password? But I nv remember setting any password for the phone.
I worried that I might accidentally press that button and I dun know its password

y some apps automatically connect to the wifi. can i refuce to let it connect to the wifi?

yea i set switch to wlan, manual-data use in home country and abroad to always ask. but it always automatically connect to a connection.

everytime i launch oci maps, a messege will come out say netwrok connection required. define access point to connect. if i select yes, i shows maxis 3g and wap/mms. how i can get rid of this messege?
1 more thing is that when i go to ovi maps, it will automatically connect to wifi. i can set so that it will ask me if wan to connect to a network

any nice torch light app to recommend, that uses the back led as the light source. seems like i cant find any app that uses the back led as the source. or maybe i heaven finish finding. lol
