the way i guide u is rooting + install clockworkmod together, i stone kill 2 bird.. smile.gif

to do this, only connect your phone to pc after the purple screen show up. (which u off ur phone and on it by press 3 button)

again, u can say clockworkmod is an advanced recovery mode, later u will need it for flash to custom rom, re-partition and update zip (patch).
*
so what is the use of advanced recovery mode for now and for me?
sry im really a smartphone nerd ><

Yeah, need to install the partition zip twice thou, those who wanna try must remember that, mine goes smooth, now got 1.08gb ROM for apps and games, great  smile.gif
*
huh?
why dont you just save your apps in SD card
since ROM has only so little space?
before doing this, how much is the ROM?
the 2GB internal memory and ROM are 2 different things, is it?

Custom ROM installation guide added on the front page guide, courtesy of Piumiu! Gonna follow his methods now. As for rooting, it is really that simple. If the phone hangs on startup, just replace the boot.img with your original boot.img that you *hopefully* backed up somewhere.
*
my phone was having blue screen
by using the way of rooting provided doh.gif

Thou u can save apps and games data files in SD card, some system apps and games root data files are not movable, eg flash player 10.3, installing too much apps will cause insufficient of phone's ROM size, u will know how important is ROM size if u play Gameloft's games lol  laugh.gif
*
is that even if i use app2sd
some of the apps are still not movable?
i see
so usually people will only put unmovable apps in ROM
and the rest place it in SD card
am i right? rclxm9.gif
