Great news for Pulse owners, free app for PS3 that adds new modes for BassImpact and allow users to choose only which mode they want to be loaded so you don't have to cycle through 6 modes to get to a mode you want.

bro, how exactly to connerct the thing? i pluged in the 3.5mm jack pon it says not connected?

Seems like a bug.

Try this workaround for now:

1) Enter the app with your Pulse connected (make sure it's on) to your PS3
2) Disconnect your Pulse but do not exit the app.
3) Turn off the Pulse.
4) Power it back on and reconnect the Pulse back to the PS3.

The app should detect the headset then. It seems that the main issue is that if the app isn't running and you turn on the Pulse then connect it after, it doesn't detect. Weird bug, or maybe just stupid by design.

but by connect you mean connect the 3.5mm jack cable ya? the led on the headset is solid yellow but the dongle flashes yellow for a while, the it went with no lights.

i looked at youtube still nobody is complaining..maybe it needs an update,,lots of possibilities..

No not the 3.5mm cable, you need to connect with a USB cable.
The 3.5mm cable does not transfer data.

Sony is planning to add in a few more different presets in the future as well depending on the reception of the app.

Also, I really really wish they would add in an EQ setting.
