What fan sound problem? You mean buzzing?

i think its the 'wind sound' caused by air blowing into the microphone from the fan tongue.gif

Depends how big your head and ears are. It didn't get too warm for me when I took it through a continuous battery stress test (about ~6 hours).
Most importantly, it didn't make my ears sweat or did I get any headaches (BassImpact at 40-60% with default Game preset).

Though the headband could be a little bit uncomfortable for some due to its 2-piece design and the layer of padding not being thick and plush enough.

Conclusion for comfort, personally... I think the Pulse ranks as one of the most comfortable gaming headsets out there now.

The only thing Sony can improve on the comfort is the use of memory foam on the ear cups and a 1-piece with plush padding for the headband.

Thanks for the detailed reply! biggrin.gif Appreciate it.

I'll be picking one up soon then .

Long time since i've used a pair of headphones, but a new neighbour just moved in , better keep the noise levels down sweat.gif

Also , has anyone tried it with movies? can it replace ordinary 2.1 speakers in terms of Sound quality?

Been using the Pulse for roughly a month now .

At first it was uncomfortable ( getting used to headphones after years of not using them ) . But now it sits properly on my ears .

Only flaw is the headband area may hurt your head after long periods, just need to readjust the headset tongue.gif

Sound quality is good enough for me. I use it for movies on the PC , music on smartphones and gaming .

Volume could be a tad bit louder on wireless mode though ..

With the aux cable ,its much much louder.

Chill guys, get something that suits ur budget , or save up for one this christmas! smile.gif

I'd definitely recommend the Pulse elite headset , although a tad bit more expensive than its predecessor , but its worth it.

No more complaints to turn down the volume tongue.gif
