No 7.1 for PC, for PS3 only 7.1, yup mic work fine in skype

Why dont you get the newest 1 which is 7.1 Pulse Elite Edition. It has extra stuff like the super cool BASS IMPACT. I'm using 1 now and i gotta say it's a great piece of headset. Look at gamefaqs PS3 forum and u'll see tons of good feedbacks.

hmm this things run with wireless mean u need to charge how long did u charge to till full and how long can u play from fully charge ... the gaming time im having is mayb more than 6-7 hours ....

So far it can lasts up to 5 hours max. Then you'll need around 3 hours to fully charge it. But i recommend charging it often when you're not gaming. So u dont need to wait so long for it to be fully charged.

You can use the wire cable while charging, but the 7.1 VSS wont be available. Just stereo.

Yep.

But the Pulse has a built in mic which makes it looks better asthetically and also BASS IMPACT. It's like dual shock on your head.

It's really worth it. Even in stereo mode this headset is probably on par with some of the more expensive audiophile headphones. The 7.1 VSS isnt bad either especially for Blu-Ray movies with bass impact set to movie mode.
