I must have missed that ,how about voice chat in Skype (PC) & Music/Vids (PC) ?

I've only tested listening to music on the PC. But I assume that if chatting on PS3 is clear, then theoretically it should be the same on PC no?

i not yet tested on skype bcoz im not using it. But in Music/Videos is good, althought it is only produce stereo in PC, but i can hear is in good quality produce, i tested with audio CD, 128kpbs MP3, Concert DVD, Youtube video all i feel is above par (maybe im not audiophile lah), my PC normal using cheaplak USB power speaker only, definately the headset is better than that. haha

If i'm not mistaken i read from somewhere that the voice chat doesn't work in PC (Skype) weird.But thanks now i know it works with music/vid on the pc too ! thanks for the reply much appreciate

So overall the sound quality is good? I'm thinking of getting this or turtlebeach dpx21.

the sony headset cannot be compared to the turtle beach dpx21. it's like comparing honda and bmw.

sony headset:
cheap, decent quality, wireless

dpx21:
expensive, good quality, wired

Dpx21 got really good sound quality but twice the price of sony headset and messy wire. Astro a40 wireless got the best combination of wireless, best quality but freaking damn expensive rm1.2k. Can tell how the 7.1 virtual sounds like?

guys, i'm abit more relaxed about the bm rule, but please dont go offtopic.
7.1 means you can tell the sound comes from where. example a NPC is speaking to you from your rear left, so you will hear the sound coming from your speaker from the rear left.

if there is a rocket coming at you and you dodge to the right, you can hear the rocket swooshing past you on your left.

For those who doupt of getting this as this low price PS3 official headset, and not trust the virtual 7.1 that only appear on PS3 game.

U can option for the higher price Sony MDR-DS6500 wireless real 7.1 surround (im not sure also), just google it and see see.
