sgs2 and sensation is really fighting it out...

all along, sgs2 seems like it will be launched first.

then sensation pulled a trick and news was that it will come out this week (in fact, supposedly to have started selling 1-2 days back).

then now sgs2 via maxis got ROI.

one trying to outdo another... lol.

which one will finally emerge as the first to officially sell in MY?!?

maxis sgs2 is samoled+ and exynos cpu..

any info about maxis will make roadshow for this SGS2? I just hope that the roadshow will have trade in for older phones, so that I can trade in my current SGS

think all who bought the obscenely expensive AP sets just less than a month ago are now super butt-hurt now.

i think this one affects ALL batches, not just the first. but as mentioned, one will hardly notice it unless one really looks at it carefully.

ya seems really hard to notice it,unless u are having sensitive eyes

its just 1 in 100,000 or million perhaps..mine good..if have that kind of problem just go exchange 1 to 1 warranty then..

i gotta say, the wait was definitely worth it. especially since the rsp is 2099. this is so gonna be my next phone when i get to malaysia. can't wait!

Don have the yellow tint problem or whatever pink spot camera problem.

I'm not sure if I should doubt the official listing but if you read further down, it says NFC support (Optional).

This might suggest that the specs list is copy and paste unless we really do get to choose whether we wanna have NFC or not.

I think I'll wait for user confirmation on whether it really is Exynos but for now, ignorance is bliss Signs are looking good..

telco in malaysia is well known for their expertise in copy and paste..

This ROM looks nice.

Yeah they are really fighting head on as they are competitor.
However I think Sensation might launch first.
After Maxis put out ROI normally they will launch the device about 2-3 weeks later, which tells the end of June release might be true.
Since we are not hearing Sensation has any telco tied, I guess it will goes to Digi, which I hope is the other way round.

just saw a post on the sensation thread. it seems maxis for internal training for sensation.

Screenshots taken from Samsung Singapore FB fanpage, the handset is on demo at Samsung's flagship store in VivoCity. Says I9101 comes with 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX 540 GPU. Note the amount of user-available RAM is 927MB.

However, Samsung says The GALAXY S II I9100 16GB Exynos/SMOLED+ is set to be released this June at S$998 w/GST without contract.

I9100 , I9101, I903? from here, we will know the real spec

i thought news is that this is more likely to be a test/ engineering set.

Apparently specs can change very quickly, as they did when they bumped up the processor speed prior to general release. Interesting though, to see how many variants they can conjure up this round.

can i have link to maxis about sgsII?
