changing to literom..seeing if it is good..angelom theme makes me migrate..

hi guys..i want to root my fon using lite'ning rom..i jz want to comfirm the procedures that i need to do..is it like below :

1.extract the .tar file
2.reboot my fon to download mode.
3.start odin n follow the steps i.e browse the .tar file etc..
4.connect my fon to pc..
5.click start to flash..
6.then re-flash stock kernel to remove yellow triangle also using odin..

if there is correction plz let me know..tax guys..really appreciated..

wat is angelom v1.5 n rom sounds very familiar. flashing to KE7 is a battery apps i suppose?

root is sthg like fresh installation of OS like tht right. - tis one will complete clean the phone. thats why benny rekomended titanium backup to avoid hassle of REinstalling the systems apps?
flash is just changing the firmware , without cleaning the phone data but better still backup it before flashing for safety.

btw if litening rom the file iis in .tar.md5

i believe root is just changing system OS data to make you able to change whatever you like in the system data (which is locked)..no it will not clean the phone..
about the titanium backup..yes you are right..and yes better backup for safety..

about angelom..its just a custom rom..you should read this..

ur score is about 30 percent.. need to repeat subject..

angelo rom is like a modified stock rom such as KE7 KE2 n KE8..it remove unnecessary or improved the stock apps to achived higher battery life..

root is like what u call jailbreak in iphone.. it allow u to access and modified the system file

1st day with Lite'ning ROM 1.3 n AngeloRom 1.7

Find AngeloRom better in terms of battery life .... 60% left with sms , calls and whatsapps from 1.7 while left with 65% for 1.3 , being idle without calls or sms

Anyway , angelorom KE8 1.0 is out today

did they remove the theme? actually i like angelrom more..since the quadrant score is better in angelrom and battery is almost the same with litening rom..but the theme so ugly..the line bar is the ugliest for me..

holycrap...i just went thru this thread's earlier posts n tonnes of sgs2 info and hacking the roms n all that thing...really really heavy mod shit man...mean there is a chance of bricking your phone too huh

now come to think of it, the dual core 1.2ghz really is a powerful as some netbooks n low end notebooks edi huh n the possibility of running computer OS on it seem reality soon....rly insane...

anyway, dc 1.2ghz mean is two cores speed rated 1.2 EACH yea? myb in near future, someone rich n crazy enuf to OC it to (wats the highest speed)? butthenagain, its just a phone, ters no need too. in fact, we should UC it to 900mhz-1ghz to save juice and temperature lol

AngeloM Rom after 1.5 he has remove the blue theme. Everythingas original stock except task bar quite nice icons
Wayfeel I can only say one must be really a dumb guy if he brick his phone. The steps are so simple n many users can testify this and most who flash are first timer

really? hmm..but i still doesnt like the line bar...

There is no line bar as far as I can see - where is this
BTW 1.7 have option to have HTC sense lookalike UI but I don't like it
