People change this phone to other phone because of its single core..other than that I can say its a good phone... Its design is still the best imo..

Added on June 5, 2011, 12:15 pm

Is it? dmn,i still prefer melkco than pdair... Pdair is too plain imo.

guys,
how do we ensure that we are not charged by Maxis for data use i.e. Android Market downloads, Papago GPS etc. i will only rely on Wifi hotspots for Internet traffic.

also, does using GPS incur any charges from Maxis?

note: i am not on any data plan and don't plan to...

disable the data plan..

go to settings > wireless and networks > mobile networks > data enabled (untick)

with this, ur data plan will b disabled..

btw, ppl shud update to 2.3.3, it gives a huge improvement compared to previous 2.3.2..

btw, for those who r using mobo player, does it play almost all formats n without any issues? im using vplayer now n it plays most of the formats without any issues..

Yes, Maps 5.5 can only work online now. It is not a big problem if you pre-cache the route though because actual data usage for location tracking is very minimal.

i'm using papago and not the built-in Maps 5.5. if i enable GPS, will it charge me? any way for me to rely on only GPS and not A-GPS which is network operator dependant?

Before arc i'm using x10. This problem also happend couple of times. Is it fon problem or network problem? I'm using maxis.

Not quite a good advice, but if me, I will factory data reset my phone after I update my phone. Its quite a hassle to install again all the apps that we have previously but at least I feel my phone is like new again

Got this phone on the day it was launch in Mid Valley... and i really like this phone a lot! HD and the screen size is much better than others. And I have one problem, might not know if its my own phone prob or anything, the menu, its in my own order and sometimes the apps that I've placed will gone missing to another page. and also why is my Ram just showing me 211MB free... I thought it is 512Mb Ram? *sorry 1st time android user* Hope you guys could answer my problems... biggrin.gif tq.
