Has anyone here tried e-go tours to cingjing and hehuanshan?

I engaged a cab. Was told the bus drivers drive very dangerously & fast along the mountain areas. Not recommended.

how much did you pay for the cab? want to cut some cost down as i'm going with my gf only

I went to cingjing, hehuanshan, fengjia, SML & other places in nantou, Taichung. Booked 2 days for $10k. Unlimited hours. Pickup from hotel in Taipei & send us back to taipei.

Ok thanks, the only far places I plan to go are cingjing and hehuanshan, then the remaining days will be in taipei.

One is based on Xi Men Ding , another one is based in Kunming

Which one is more cheaper if I take bus to another area?

Just to update a bit on the currency exchange.

I change MYR -> TWD here in Malaysia with the rate of 10.85

When I arrived at Taiwan, I out of cash. Hence I withdraw using CIMB ATM card 5000TWD which cost RM540.12 (include charges), so in calculation around 10.80.

I swipe my CIMB credit card there, and just checked at CimbClicks which is only for conversion 10.59.

Day 2
Yehliu -> Jiufen -> Keelung

Day 3
Taipei 101 -> Taipei Expo Park (Skipping if shopping in WFP)-> Wu Fen Pu -> Raohe Night Market -> Rainbow Bridge

Day 4
Yang Ming Shan -> Tamsui -> XMD

Day 5
Free until 1pm then balik Malaysia

3rd day -Wulai also whole day

4th day - Taipei 101 /nite shilin market

No it's not. Buy it from Malaysia. Unless you are really worried about warranty issue then get it at ttaiwan.
