Bought a bunch of comic books from www.tfaw.com and all the items arrived on time (used the priority shipment, around 8 to 18 days). Though the prices are quite cheap, the shipping isn't so much. A good place to catch up some back issues, variants and collectibles. Recommended for hardcore readers and collectors only.

QUOTE(ricadoe @ Sep 5 2014, 11:20 PM) How many books u bought in order to get value for money shipment? I bought about 12 books (with bags and boards option), and picked parcel priority shipment on checkout. Used a $10 off shipping coupon for purchase above $30 (got it after subscribing the newsletter) for a total of $48.27. I guess it depends on the discount for each of the books, plus how long you're willing to wait for the items to arrive. That been said, the price is almost the same with our local comic shops. But since TFAW got so many different services and products to offer (such as the random comic Grab Bag for 0.50 cents each, Nick & Dent section and plethora of back issues), they would remain as one of my comic book sources.

QUOTE(chipmunkey1992 @ Jan 21 2015, 10:37 AM) Hey yo poeple! Never knew this thread existed. I've been trying to find the mind shop in center point and their shop isn't there anymore. Where else can I buy comics? I'm use to going to kinokuniya. Any recommendations? Comic Mart at 3rd floor Mid Valley Megamall still carries comic books, though nowadays their specialization is in tabletop RPG games such as Warhammer and D&D. Lil' Monsters at Jaya Shopping Center carries comics too, and will help you to pre-order any solicitation from their Previews catalogue. Their service is top of the notch too. If you're looking a community to trade rare or limited edition comics, you can try Apokolips Galleria, Earth 638, and Comics And Hobby Island page on Facebook.
