Just calibrated my laptop. Surprisingly my laptop display is colder side. Now it sets to warmer side i can't get use to it.
if its calibrated, it should be on the normal side Photography The Official Nikon Discussion thread V10, The dark lord continues

QUOTE(vincent09 @ May 31 2011, 12:36 AM) Er, sorry for asking 2nd time, just want to know is it nowadays all nikon service center will be charge on sensor cleaning? they will charge, warranty or no warranty.I just getting few dust on my sensor by shooting f22, some more is brand new.... so just want to make sure is it will be charge for the service. It is that I need to bring the warranty card to proof or just walking in ? just that with warranty its cheaper, iirc rm20 for dx, rm50 for fx...so u still have to bring the card. but f22, i wouldnt worry too much...once it starts appearing at f/11 or more...then only send it in. |

i believe hes talking about voltage issues that may harm the cam, that may happen with using 3rd party stuff.

also its really no point saving around rm100 for a 3rd party grip, when you already spent way more for the dslr.
unless of cos ur dslr got no official grip. some 3rd party grips are also badly designed, i tried one for the D3100 couple weeks ago...damn shutter button so far away. |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 1 2011, 10:34 AM) How often you guys use the horizon indicator? Izzit only available in D7000 or all models have it? i dont use that indicator much, cos the default viewfinder grid on D7000 already good enough.I assigned that to my Fn button and sometime it made me searching for it when I'm holding the grip my Fn button is set to 'flash off'. |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 1 2011, 11:20 AM) No grid, I kept the grid turned on all the while. What I mean is the horizon indicator meter which shows how much you tilted or balanced your horizon axis. yea, flash wont fire, but the AF-assist light will if its set.Sometime although I followed the grid, but the frame still look "senget". Perhaps I haven't shoot enough yet. BTW, if set to "flash off", which mean it'll not flash even when flashgun attached? Ahh... yet to discover about bracketing shots |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 1 2011, 10:26 PM) Just took out my flashgun to remove the batteries for charging to get it ready for the weekend. To my horror I noticed the Nikon tag that closing the power adapter on the front of the flashgun gone !!! I thought I dropped it during the photoshooting last weekend and thankfully it was in the softcase after I digged it. Phews~ ! It's so easy to drop off? Anyone dropped it already? Anyway, who's in line with me for July? [attachmentid=2249000] tho im also going to start working on finding a media pass...and get into the pc later |

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Jun 2 2011, 09:04 PM) When you use a monopod, you don't need a ballhead. You just screw the monopod directly to the lens foot. It's more secured. You usually carry the lens + body + monopod by holding the monopod. that would depend on ur shooting position.some ppl also dont like monopods straight up and prefer it at an angle for more stability, thats where a ballhead comes into play. |
