nice topic... my suggestion

www.ultimate-guitar.com also got some nice tabs there..
Beginner: any blink182 songs basketcase - greenday zombie - cransberries
Advanced: bullet, higher, my sacrifice - creed broken wings - alter bridge istuka - glay (jrock)
not an expert yet, so i can't say anything bout it...i prefer playing jrock songs are they involve more pluckings and odd-timing struming...for me, it's a good practise...

for bassist, learn all of jaco's songs man... teen town is first on the list then continuum good stuff... and pink floyd money along with cake i will survive... but the repetative bass lines may get boring after a while but still nice groove..
