it is weird, but that is because you edit the config.ini directly mar...

but even i din edit. i only can choose medium,high or ultra no matter how i change texture quality to low every low but i still not able to change shadow low..

DNA (or DO NOT ARGUE) driver is a tweaked driver based on official driver. One driver for both desktop & notebook computer. Unfortunately, they usually one version behind.

Based on my past experience, the modified/tweaked driver usually the best. If I got stutters with original driver, the tweaked driver usually fixed it. Anyway, to know the best one, I usually do benchmarks with both official & tweaked driver. The one scores more, even only by 100, that is the one I use.

Which one should i buy?

guys, u play game on batt or power?

no matter wat laptop u using. it is advised to used power if u get to have a choice

gaming, almost always with AC power. only when no choice (on the move) i will use battery...

if u r sure the folder is correct, and u can see the game in SC2, but cannot play, that mean, u need a different version of SC2. try get the latest. current version is 1.3.4.18701.

cow so late ah? i found out 1 thing.. EQAA no matter how u change to 31 00 it won't work.. it will only work on 32 00 but it still show same thing..
b4 that got 4 option (high performance / performance / quality / high quality) now 11.7 driver only got 3 option..

11.7 no matter i play what game, the temp won't get 70°C & the graphics is worst than previous.. if i set high quality the refresh & loading seems faster & smoother.

SC2 medium setting get 30-35 fps??? RE5 still can't get 60 fps how u did it??

u tried install 11.7 driver. paiseh i din play mafia2.. quite demanding game since ur card is 5650 if no mistake..

i not sure other guys got same temp like mine.. i swear to god my temp won't exceed 70°C on SSF4 also with high setting & shadows stuff & vsync OFF! average 63+ fps

I tried Mafia 2 Demo on my Dell with HD 4570 last year. I can play it but I don't remember the settings (between medium to high). This games already tested on Aspire 5740G with HD 5650. With HD 5650 the performance is better of course. So, you should be able to play Mafia 2 without any problem. However if it's lag after few minutes, probably your notebook overheat.

For a last couple of months, ambient temperature is high & the air is hot. Even if the notebook get good air airflow/circulation, notebook still can overheat because the air is hot. You'll need to use aluminum based cooling pad. Because aluminum can make the air cool down & heat dissipate faster. So, CoolerMaster NotePal U2 or U3 is suitable for your notebook because the entire body is aluminum.

kizwan what bout my issue? the temp is like won't exceed 70 playin 30 min.. when 11.6 a few min will 70++

no matter how i change the EQAA to 31 00 binary it will auto change to 30 00.. what happened to my AI catalyst only 3 options whereas previously got 4??

RE5 & SC2 fps is very low on medium setting.. unable to hit 40-50 fps at all.. it should be around 60 fps
