lol i remembered my friend who bought her asus laptop that came with BD.. then it got stolen. Bought in 2008; stolen last month.

Sadly, she said she only use that drive twice -.-"

i have an even crazier one 9which obviously im still embarrassed about!) me and my friend were sitting on a bench in a small park at night, we drank a few beers 9maybe more than a few)..... i left the laptop right next to me and my friend after around 2 hours of chilling there talking etc.... asked me "wanna go??", so we left walking, 2 hours later i realized i left the laptop by the bench i went back there, GONE, of course. I'll never forget that day.... hard earned money lost right in the sink.

Next time tie the notebook to yourself lol

In Malaysia, our models come with a standard 2x2GB DDR3 1333Mhz (Elpida RAM)

So yea..it's different.

I've upgraded to 8GB now. Well, i would say you could feel some difference here and there, particularly when you're hosting VMs or multiple apps running at once; but other than that, it's not significant.

no point upgrading RAM unless you really multitask alot or u do some graphic design......or maybe running on multiple OS . I remember there's a user here running on 3 OS at the same time. Two Windows 7 and one Windows XP
Most of us here in Malaysia got 8gb+.....some even 16GB ......because the price here is really cheap. Around 35 euro i think.
