Looks like most of you guys are using N53 one. Anybody has N43? my N43 is really warm on the left side. If not playing games, the palm rest only will get really warm. if I play games, the upper left side also will heat up... Should I bring it to the service center? it's only 2 weeks old!!

and why people say the palm rest is made of metal? mine is plastic lah!! btw, it's i5 model smile.gif
*
normal la left side warm bro. the heat blows out from the left side coz the vent is there. as for palm rest, mine ocassionally gets slightly warm on the right side. my guess is the hdd is there? not sure hehe. mine n53sv tho.

I was wondering having a Full HD (1920X1080) on a 15.6 screen makes it worth the difference. For me, having a HD (1366x768) LED screen is good enough for me.

Well, since 1080p panel is quite rare, its not just about the resolution, but you get higher quality screen as well, in term of colour, etc.

I heard that the Asus Service Centre in Penang sucks. Always no parts and the workers there lack experience. As a result, the time taken for repairs will be VERY VERY long. Is it true? thanks

it's normal to reach 500k memory in ff after opening so many tabs
but you can kinda reset the memory without closing ur tabs.....by just restarting ff biggrin.gif .
Just dl the extension called Restart FireFox. So next time, when the mem usage is like 300k++ (for me intolerable) just restart by clicking the orange FireFox bar on the top left corner. Oh yea....when restart, make sure ur not dling anything cause it will stop the dl

What kind of security program do you recommend, if I plan to use N53 in public cafe or airport with WiFi? I already use firewall and Avast anti-virus, are those enough?
