QUOTE(LynnZed @ May 20 2011, 08:29 PM) If they don't need EE and why on earth did they sponsored EE students? haven't u heard of EE engineers offshore? Power Plants? Hun, who's noob now? petronas doesnt really care what kind of engineer they sponsor, during my short stint with them, they would assign the engineers anywhere even if it has no relation to their studies |

Well was just trying to highlight my point that EE engineer is still crucial in OnG though mainly it has always been Chem n Mechi ranked top on their list. |

I briefly went to have a look at O&G because they offered, but it's too dangerous for my liking and i dont like religious stuff being imposed at the workplace. Im back in the auto industry with a normal 8-4 job, good working conditions and much more €s. |

QUOTE(LynnZed @ May 20 2011, 08:47 PM) My boss likes to have daily meetings, and we start off with baca doa. Rotates among the team. Ok might as well baca doa, because when i visit the plant there is a big sign there on how many days without a plant incident, but i prefer to do this myself, without it being a company thing. |

hmm oil & gas is the main attraction here eh,
telecom's sector does offer good pay for degree holder that entitle you the job position of an engineer. equipment vendors 4k++ (ericsson, alcatel lucent, nokia siemens & such) operators like maxis, digi, celcom etc cheaper abit 3k++ if you're damn good with a lil bit of experience can get more. further along the line become a specialist & 5 digits salary is easy. last time i was working in a vendor my senior engineer is paid RM30k monthly... now in US working for AT&T for only god knows USD??k per month This post has been edited by kai_rel: May 20 2011, 11:17 PM |
