Well said  i graduated with EE degree but seriously so hard to find a job thats more than 3k. been released by Petronas few months ago. they also dont have (that much) money to cater fresh grads engineer.

waiting the chance to jump now...but now is not the correct timing to jump...

currently work at Japan manufacturing company, start with 'P'.

hmm oil & gas is the main attraction here eh,

telecom's sector does offer good pay for degree holder that entitle you the job position of an engineer.

equipment vendors 4k++ (ericsson, alcatel lucent, nokia siemens & such)

operators like maxis, digi, celcom etc cheaper abit 3k++

if you're damn good with a lil bit of experience can get more.

further along the line become a specialist & 5 digits salary is easy. last time i was working in a vendor my senior engineer is paid RM30k monthly... now in US working for AT&T for only god knows USD??k per month

actually individual with network engineering or computer science are more than welcome to join. the telecom's sector are moving towards IP implementation with their core network.

just apply who knows you're in luck. i'm comtemplating doing technical cert such as CCNA & CCNP rather than continue M.Eng but doing B.Eng pun sudah sakit.

its popular but not so glamour as oil & gas lah kawan. currently i work in the telco sector & during work met a lot of electrical engineers. TNB, consultants, equipment vendors & contractors. Stay long enough the I.R title will be yours heheh.

anyway i'm a fresh grad in E&E, there's a lot of job in malaysia. keep on sending your resume's guys haha. last year was crazy for me as i went for job interviews in north, south, east & west of the peninsular.
