I called Apple cust care line this morning and they are compensating RM100 to me as well.. Anyway, I don't care lah.. since I was initially expecting the delivery to be on 3/6 anyways..

And regarding the later shipments getting cleared first, is due to random custom checks. In a container, they pick random batch to inspect.. so maybe those later shipments they don't really need to check completely and got cleared fast.

you are so lucky, mine still stuck in the stupid custom...

if according to the timeline for the batch before ours, if we're lucky by today should kautim the clearance process, since for them they started one day earlier than us on the 23rd.

When did you make order? I want to order online but worried it will take more than 2 week door to door...

haha yoi, u r in d same batch, same time with me. n mybe our ipad placed side by side each other..sitting in d same big bulk..whre ur expectant date? tomorrow? i guess the custom give priority to those shipped outside kl..gosh if i knew dis earlier rela put my grandma address in johor..

if clearance before noon, we should get our ipad on the same day if the destination in klang valley...

i ordered mine on the 12th of May, i think around 12am.

hopefully bro.and im assuming we r in d same big bulk ordered by APR such machines, switch..as machines mentioned on their fb dis weekend they will get their stock..

the thing is that, i'm staying at penang..hope cn get it today..

its too soon to assume, but i just called DHL and the CS told me that mine is already in the 'final stage' of clearance - whatever that means. and that somehow gave me some 'assurance' he said mine will be cleared by tomorrow, and delivered by monday (coz i use office address otherwise can deliver on saturday for home address - too bad, i'm travelling that day )

so let's see how it goes.

so for those whose shipment like mine, perhaps you too, can rely on the info i just gathered.

if monday, means 2 days delay than the original delivery date. not so bad i suppose? but i certainly dont fancy the anxiety feeling i have to bear for the past 2 days.

Just called dhl, n he says my ipads r cleared, arrived at warehouse, but my online status not updated. Shipped on the 22nd may.
Either way, he fools me or it's Reli clear
