haishhh so anxious waiting for my ipad2. the promised delivery date is tomorrow. and yet the status is still 'clearance delay'.
some more i arranged it to be shipped to my husband's office as a surprise. if tomorrow, its confirmed he'll b in office. but if other day? -___-' guess this is the price we have to pay from buying online huh?

what's the success rate of getting the refund? what should be my point of arguement? just realised my cc is charged extra RM19.99.

my order is the same like yours - 64gb 3g wifi.. and same status. apple say delivers by 26 may. whats your status as of today? mine:

just checked mine. still 'clearance delay' as of today May 25, 2011 21:51.

promised delivers date is tomorrow. are they gonna send a notification on a new deliver date? sigh. i'm getting more and more anxious & furious now coz the whole
plan is to surprise hubs at his office.. -__-' looks like i'm the one who's being 'surprised!!!'.

will apple send another email notification if deliver date changes
to a later date? anyone?

how come they are not being systematic in doing the clearance ah??? like those later shipment can clear first than the earlier one. hmmm. i'm gonna call apple today. i dunwan money compensation but i'm gonna demand that my ipad is delivered by tmrw (tho the promised date is today).. can ah?? wish me luck and all the best to everyone!!

just called Apple. the CS is being very nice so i think thats their strategy coz at the end of the day, no matter how much i complain or i raise my voice or even cry, all they can say is 'we do apologise for the delay' and 'its beyond our control' and 'we are doing our very best' and 'its being held by the malaysian govt neither us or DHL can do anything about it'.

sigh.

all they can offer me is RM100. i did complain about how come some ppl can get rm150 or rm200 and the CS had the guts to say its just rumours. and also when i said 'how come the later shipment can get clearance first', she said the same thing 'its just rumours'. BAH!! i said 'look, people are being furious out there, so people share information. come on la, dont talk non-sense'.

again, 'we do apologise about the delay'.

i managed to talk about the extra charges of rm19.99 thats being charged to my credit card. and she will make sure that's gonna be refunded as well.

so i guess i'm just gonna wait. and wait. and wait.



if there's any consolation i suppose we are guaranteed that at the end of the day, we WILL be getting what we want. as oppose those who queue in line for hours and go home in dissapointment. no?

(sorry for the long ramble. i need to whine )

its too soon to assume, but i just called DHL and the CS told me that mine is already in the 'final stage' of clearance - whatever that means. and that somehow gave me some 'assurance' he said mine will be cleared by tomorrow, and delivered by monday (coz i use office address otherwise can deliver on saturday for home address - too bad, i'm travelling that day )

so let's see how it goes.

so for those whose shipment like mine, perhaps you too, can rely on the info i just gathered.

if monday, means 2 days delay than the original delivery date. not so bad i suppose? but i certainly dont fancy the anxiety feeling i have to bear for the past 2 days.

oh no, i was just told the same thing. is it their strategy now to calm us down???? nevertheless lets see our status tonight.

anyway i just read your previous reply in this forum. how do you check / do the week of production test?

now viewing the DHL tracking status website its like checking the exam results.

if see clearance delay status = feels like dang! i fail exam or something

if see clearance process complete = feels like weeehooo i pass my exam

am i right, or am i right??


my status: masih fail exam. need to repeat paper

they said its only reflected in your next month cc bill...

mine is exactly like yours. called DHL and i guess the staff is getting impatient so all i was told that i have to wait coz got thousands of shipment no hope to receive today i think. sigh.
