i can't mix my marimos with fishes cuz my dad doesn't like it..do u know any alternative to provide more CO2 into the tank so that the marimos will grow faster and healthier?..BTW, this is how i setup my tank..

I bought a super giant marimo from LexYxxg, it was a bit brownish when i received it, asked in this forum regarding the fridge spa but no one reply..so i oso doubt if this seller got ethics or not..some more got ppl this thread is his page? Hmm...

hi, guys..i'm a newbie and hope u can assist me here..i'm a one piece anime die hard fan..i know about marimo because of one of the character's nickname is marimo (Roronoa Zoro)...it's just a coincidence that after a few years i watch that anime, i try to google how marimo looks like in reality a few days ago...that's how i find out that someone is actually selling this algae in malaysia - leeyung..it's quite a gamble for me cuz i never trust online shopping..ahahha..just after a few minutes i saw the promotion in lelong, i make an order and bank in money the next day...after i read all the comments here..i say to myself "I'm really glad that i get the real, right marimo from the right person".

Not all of the online sellers are guaranteed that their items are in good condition especially the living things...and that's the sole reason why i can't trust online shopping..BTW, thanks to the honest seller - leeyung as i've got the marimos 2 days after the order..ehehe..i'll keep the marimo as good as it should be..i'll add more marimos after i'm pro enough to keep it...

Normally it is used to put bloodworm as food for other fish. Glass bowl is used to prevent the bloodworm to go into the substrate...

Tauke leeyung has tried with co2 but no different, so better not to waste your co2...

maybe overlook la... If u not satisfied with the item u received, deal with him directly la... If bad response u may talk about ethics in open thread potential buyers need to know bout that...

Actually if you read both thread thoroughly, already mentioned bout the fridge spa... It is just put your marimo in fridge for 2days (but not in the freezer part), add in a bit of salt... Btw i'm a first time marimo keeper but hv deep interest in aqua stuff

I dare not to, afraid the marimo will break... Small type of shrimps like red cherry shrimp is still ok...

Can i get some suggestion? my 2 giant marimo have a very bad smell and got oily like stuff at the water suffer.may i know what happen to my marimo?

change water and gently rub ur marimo...

its to put my shrimp food, if no all the small small pieces will drop into your substrate and create problem such as worm or ammonia spike

marimo grow very slow, and dun really need to inject co2

if u scare of oily surface, can add some air pump or small water filter to keep the water moving

To add, rub under running tap water so that the spoilt old water in the marimo is replaced by new fresh water

Actually you dont have to censor the name like that, if you have any doubts with your marimo and if you are really my buyer, then just post here and ask me, because until now I really dont know who are you and whether you are my buyer or not. Kindly state the user ID which you said you have bought from me. I have a lists of my buyers, so no worries that I will forget your other user ID

And by the way, I checked through this thread and also all the posts you posted, I do not see any questions from you regarding fridge spa. Not only that, you should have gone through the FAQ on the first page of this thread and also the first page of my selling thread. The reason why I posted those FAQ are for the ease of forumers and those marimo owners to know how to take care of their marimos. It is therefore your own responsibility to read through the FAQ, and of course if you have any questions, I will be very glad to help you, you can just ask other forumers here about this, I will try my best to answer all doubts. So you cannot just simply accuse the seller for having no ethics, this is quite irresponsible to badtalk somebody without any prove.

And lastly, about your sentence "some more got ppl this thread is his page?" If you r saying that there are my people in this thread, please go ahead and report to admin,they will take action if there are any dupe accounts. This is another accusation which I felt very irresponsible and unfair. FYI, I am not the TS for this thread also

Yeah, can but in the condition that you have to feed them on time, or else ur lobster will have a marimo burger

See my marimo tank lobster, actually the other name for the lobster is crayfish My marimos have no problem with the lobster unless I didnt feed them, then they will sometime take the nano marimo like burger to bite

Yeah, tested CO2, didnt see any significant growth rate, so dont waste your $ if your tank consist of marimo only

Lobster is salt water sp. Crayfish is fresh water sp.
I also thinking rearing my own crayfish, then when bbq comes, just pick them out of my tank.
