After adding water, and plants.. nobody will take note of the transparent glue. hv a 2 ft tank with black tape, and another 3ft without.
For me black looks sleek and cool. 3 ft with added plants and such already look invisible to me ^^ |

yeah that's the thing. i have an ocd somewhat when it comes to smeared/smudgy/unclean edge jobs in general lol :P
and i was planning to keep my marimos in a 6x6x6" cube at most. it's like the smaller it is the harder it is to make it clean. even acrylic. |

The smaller the tank the harder to maintain the parameter.
It might heat up very fast or cool down very fast. Will give any flora and fauna a shock some even till death. Small tank also means regular water change which is a bother for some. i prefer at least 1ft cube |

salt as in aqua salt.
Give them cool spa in fridge for treatment. Your marimo is sick. What medication have you added in your new tank previously? |

You are correct too, anti algae med may caused the marimos like that too. 2 possibilities I think, anti algae med or sun light. As marimo owners over here, I think most of us know that if marimo in normal tank (pipe water or anti chlorine water), it should be hardly die if do not get under direct sunlight, weoili more info for your tank setup please How long is it? aiks..
May be some anti algae solution for the old tank. I got the tank from my friend.. I placed in after a few days of water changing.. The water temp is around 27-30 degree. No direct sunlight. That's why I have to use lighting. I bought them long time ago forgotten when and where. Keep them till like that.. Thank you guys.. Will use some salt and fridge treatment AKA cold spa treatment for them. |
