I haven't try to peel the sticker out. biggrin.gif It won't effect the touchpad sensitivity if sticks on it.

ohhh...first gen look so ugly LOL!

the 3rd gen 1 is sticker surface or rough 1 ? :S

very nice looking indeed.

3rd gen carbon sticker looks a bit glossy due to the camera flash reflection. hmm.gif Mine got matte and texture feeling on it
*
the first gen is the damn ugly one tat u see on the first link. The second gen is the one with 3D texture which u can feel but it does not look like a real carbon fiber.

The 3rd gen is the second pic on the first link which really look like a real carbon fibre with glossy surface.

If u bought those cheap carbon fibre which uses bad glue, then ur lappy will have glue on it after u peel it out. Try choose either Dinoc or 3M biggrin.gif

w00t. loving the latest whql GC driver.

quoting from NBR forum : Seems that since 270.61 Clevo cards are automatically detected.

So no more hassle installing GC driver.

not only that, 3d vision is auto installed as well. So now only need an external display monitor with 120Hz, and also the 3D glasses smile.gif

Added on May 22, 2011, 2:20 pmnow everyone is into carbonfiber as well.

bought mine through this link.

they send to you using Skynet.

bought 3x1, but got some extra enough for 1 more (i only stick at the palmrest section, din bother sticking extra at the back of laptop screen)

if u want to stick on back of laptop as well, i suggest going for 3x1. never wrong to have some extra of the sticker at the end of the day, better to have extra rather than cursing yourself in the end for not buying enough smile.gif

kahye, it is quite easy one, if u scare u have lousy skill, then prepare some soap water, use a wet cloth soak with soap water, wipe on ur notebook surface then stick it. so that u can move around the sticker and do some adjustment. beware though, dun wet ur cloth too much ah

lol, nono, i mean the carbon fibre sticker, i can cut the sager word and paste on the back of the screen so tat it can glow cause got light ma. But games like crysis ah, the online game normally suk le. Have u try prejudice? i had bought the game just tat i haven install since i have got the lappy yet. Prejudice is going to be a very very nice game. Also, not sure can 485 support deus ex game as the requirement too damn high
*
oh i c i c, now i understand about it ..... no i didnt try the prejudice, i used to play guild wars only as online games (MMORPG) now w8ting for second one to be released, i'm nostly FPS shooter online type and single-player , no worry, 485m will support deus ex games, eventhough at highest setting, u may leave the AA off or any other heavy effects, it will be ok, as if you got a GTX460 desktop, so no worry, even can run crysis 2 at maximum setting 1080 at 30 FPS, so no worry for deus ex ! i think sli or cross gonna rock really in this game, currently i've installed the witcher 2 on my m15x but i am more interested to play on wider screen rclxms.gif

NP8130: 3.1kg with battery pack. It is considered quite lightweight already. But the adapter is like a brick.

is the size of the hard disk important? what impact will it have on the speed of things?
*
Size of harddisk doesn't affect the speed. Using SSD Hard disk will definitely boost the speed but it is still expensive at this stage if you are considering getting at least 500gb. If budget is a concern, stick to the normal 500gb 7200rpm.

I'm using two 500gb 7200rpm harddisk on my NP8170-S1, so far no problem.
