gonna wait till a better source comes out on hargreaves be4 believing he will be gone this summer. If i remember correctly, the dailymail is the same site which said we had agreed a deal for de gea sometimes ago in february.......and still we get no confirmation of that. Maybe just some bullshet journalism.

It's all about the quotes. Mostly if they have them directly, 99.9% sure it's true. It's directly from SAF. If got quotes and doesn't name a source, like an unnamed staff at the club/source close to the club, then most likely it's bullshit.

So, most likely it will be an another 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 formation. Fletch, Scholesy and Ando will part in the mid. I just hope we can push a few goals for Berbatov. He is being overlooked in many ways. Even by our own fans.
*
Agreed. Berba should prove em wrong.

except that it is true..a quick search through google and twitter will confirm that. There's a difference between trusting stupidly and trusting cleverly.

obviously some official announcement from the united site. And i know the article quoted sir AF, but as we all know by now, unless we see the whole transcript of what was said by sir AF we won't know the whole truth. Journalist can just copy n paste bits they like to come out with their desired result. Like i said, gonna take it with a pinch of salt till its official from united site.

No need to be on official side if the quotes are directly from SAF's mouth.

and yet we humans havent learned enough imo, you me and every one included.any one anywhere with a conection can start anything these days on the web, and being massive isnt a guarantee of its authenticity.

well i think its not true, call it denial but the odds are still well stacked to the allegations being made.with an affair of 7 months, i doubt his family can keep it that quite mind you and even in the recently event held at ot he and his wife are just as normal as they can be and thats some thing hard to replicate at this level of coverage they get.well practically thats my pt of it not being giggs.

unless there is something in the proportions of wiki leaks, then yeah i may be swayed to believe but coming from social sites+tabloid papers wch thrives on these things, then its never true and never will be.

well you should know that these news wont be published on the website until the official departure of hargreaves.. it's up to u of course whether to trust it or not...same thing as transfers, they wouldnt announce who United will officially be bidding in the summer right? transfer rumours ada la, everyone is saying it's De Gea/Stekelenburg atm, also taken from where? the papers and internet laugh.gif

regarding the Giggs incident, the allegation of the affair is the one in question, not whether if it's Giggsy or not...though 1 month + ago i was hoping it could be gerrard brows.gif

but even if it's true, then i'll guess we will just have to live with that, no1 is perfect anyway..and iinm that whole thing was when Giggsy was still captaining Wales, agak lama dah baru keluar xD

On Skysports now.

Hargreaves to leave United

QUOTE
Owen Hargreaves will not be offered a new contract by Manchester United after his injury hell of the last three years. The former England international has seen his Old Trafford career wrecked by tendinitis in both knees and has been able to make just two fleeting outings in the last two seasons and only three in the campaign prior to that.

Having signed a four-year contract after arriving from Bayern Munich in a £17million deal in July 2007, the 30-year-old is now on the lookout for a new club. Sir Alex Ferguson admitted it was a tough call to make but had little option but to show the versatile midfielder the door.

Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday: "This has been a difficult decision knowing how hard the lad has worked to win back his fitness.  "But we have made it in the hope he will be able to resurrect his career elsewhere."

This piece of news should give everyone here some idea what is going on with our transfer deals. Despite his age, i think lindegaard will give de gea u huge challenge for the number 1 in the team.

Manchester United expects to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea within two weeks

Red Devils extremely confident after Spain under-21 star indicates he wants to move to Old Trafford as back-up target Maarten Stekelenburg looks for a different club

QUOTE
Manchester United is confident of signing 20 million euros Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea in the next two weeks.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has identified De Gea as the perfect long-term replacement for Edwin van der Sar and the Premier League champions have been talking to the Spaniard for several weeks about a move.

De Gea had suggested he will wait until the end of June before making a decision but Goal.com understands the Red Devils are expecting to land their man within a week of the Champions League final against Barcelona on May 28.

“We know the keeper we want and are in a good position, and I'm sure we can get the deal done,” said chief executive David Gill last Sunday.

He was talking about De Gea, 20, who has indicated he feels the opportunity to join United is too good to turn down and is ready to reject a new contract offer from Atletico, where his current deal expires in 2013.

A deal worth £17.5m has been agreed in principal with United for some time and Ferguson is convinced the Spain under-21 international has the ability to be the club's No.1 for many years.

The Scot even missed United's League Cup win at Scunthorpe earlier this season to watch De Gea in action and has continued his pursuit despite goalkeeping coach Erik Steel's preference for Schalke's Manuel Neuer, who is close to a move to Bayern Munich.

Further indication that United is close to signing to De Gea is provided by the fact the representatives of Maarten Stekelenburg have accepted the Ajax goalkeeper is going to miss out on his dream move and are now encouraging talks with other clubs.

Ferguson spoke earlier this week about his desire to sign three players in the summer transfer window, with a goalkeeper his most pressing concern as 40-year-old Van der Sar is retiring at the end of the season.

De Gea, who has been compared to Real Madrid and Spain keeper Iker Casillas, broke into the Atletico side in 2009 before helping the club to win the Europa League last season and the UEFA Super Cup in August.
