Most UEFA Cup won. Nothing surprise me. They even obsessed about the Clean Sheet trophy.
I'm waiting for someone to compare every red team out there and give an award to the most reddest of them all. |

FA Youth Cup. Starting in a few minutes. Johnstone; M Keane, Thorpe, Fornasier, McGinty; Lingard, Pogba ,Tunnicliffe, Morrison, Van Velzen; W Keane Hope one of those CM/AMs makes it. Morrison and Poga are skilful, and Tunnicliffe would run through walls for the team. Added on May 18, 2011, 2:32 amNo chance there would be that many out and ins. We're a club that relies a lot on continuity. There would be very minimal changes. GK will change of course. And Scholes and Hargreaves might retire/be let go. Owen can still stay on for another year. A lot will depend on how SAF feels about Welbeck and if we have space to keep him(25 man thing) in the squad. Added on May 18, 2011, 2:33 amKuszczak will definitely leave. New GK(De Gea most likely), Lindegaard and Amos as our 3 next season? Not a lot of experience there. QUOTE(mhyug @ May 18 2011, 02:30 PM) you really dig degea dont you koh koh. I prefer someone much older with more experience like Julio Cesar/Reina/Buffon(without injury problems). Didn't want Stekelenburg, but as days goes by, he grew on me. Maybe not as highly rated and talented as the others, he certainly would be a safe option considering his age and experience and he won't cost the earth too. Neuer have been impressive I must say and remind a lot of Schmeichel although we have no chance to get him once Bayern show interest and he stated that he wanted to stay in Germany. The others don't impress me much. Akinfeev short, Lloris suspect on crosses, Adler looks a bit like Foster.. De Gea I don't know much other than being highly rated and play like VDS a bit. He seems to be the one. The noises are getting louder that he's the one. I hope he is the one. Considering his age, he could be with us for 10+ years!*il be loling all they way the day he wont come here(being a latino that is) *A lot depend on how he does in goal for us of course and whether we are good enough to keep him should he be deemed 'good'(keep him happy, fighting for trophies and whatnot). Added on May 18, 2011, 7:39 pm QUOTE(onepack @ May 18 2011, 03:04 PM) a possibilities.. for the past few season united really hv been making suprise transfer. Well, nobody expected we were gonna sign VDS last time. Could happen this time as well. De Gea allegedly is considering our offer, and if he don't sign, maybe we would feel the other targets aren't worth getting(considering Neuer is going to Bayern). So we go with the safe option although Buffon injury record is not good last few seasons.player that media really hype we gonna sign always not the case. at the moment its de gea, maarten ste.. as much i hope its maarten kinda hv doubt we gonna go for him Evra, Vida, Park, VDS, CR, Rooney, Carrick(replace Roy Keane), Hernandez, Smalling, the twins.. QUOTE(mhyug @ May 18 2011, 07:42 PM) come on, they are already holding for quite a bit of money man.he aint cheap either compared to the nuers and llris's. True. But if we feel he is the best man for the job, might as well pay up unless the price is ridiculous(30m+). There's obviously no #2 of anyone out there. But the style of play can be similar. Neuer looks a lot like Schmeichel. All action. And there's a reason people call De Gea with a Van in front of his name sometimes. performance wise, well none of them are field tested at the epl as of yet so they all are in the same boat bar, the likes reina/cesar/gigi whom have experience but those 3 are on another level of terms of how available they are to others. i dont think any of the names above plays like vds and nor does vds plays like them.each ada +/- but one thing for sure we can give them a strong platform in our back 4. Other than getting someone proven out there that have a lot of experience + ability, I really don't know who to go for. But it didn't work out with Barthez for us. Same with Juve when they bought the then 29 year old VDS who was rated as one of the best at the time and he fail there. There's no sure thing. We just have to trust our gut and hope it all works out after we've done all we can to scout, do background research, and identify our targets. I'm warming to the idea of having a kid in goal if he does sign for us. *-Rio-Vida-Evra in front of him should give him plenty of protection with their experience and whatnot. He will make mistakes no doubt. Even VDS does. Let's just hope like VDS, he can forget those mistakes quick and not affect his game too much. QUOTE(Wilson_Ong @ May 18 2011, 08:25 PM) Jus saw on manutd website tht papers sayin tht Man City wanna buy Ronaldo but do you guys think tht Ronaldo will play for Man City after playin for us? Lets not tok abt Tevez... Ada wang, ada stars. |

Tweeting is fine. Just don't overdo it until can get ban from FA City. Rooney got into a banter and said something like he can knock the guy out in 10 seconds or something. While it is harmless, we don't want to our players to get into trouble. One badly worded tweet, could end up in jail as well.

It's all over for Hargreaves as Ferguson confirms midfielder's exit
QUOTE Manchester United have called time on Owen Hargreaves' career at Old Trafford and will not offer him a new contract. The decision almost certainly brings an end to the midfielder's playing days after a terrible time with knee problems. The 30-year-old managed only 39 appearances during nearly four seasons at United and his tendinitis injuries were a source of frustration for Sir Alex Ferguson as well as the Canadian-born former England international. But the United manager has refused to write off the rest of his career. This post has been edited by Wan: May 22 2011, 08:35 AM'This has been a difficult decision knowing how hard the lad has worked to win back his fitness,' said Ferguson. 'But we have made it in the hope he will be able to resurrect his career elsewhere.' The news will come as a bitter blow to Hargreaves, who burst on to the international stage in the build-up to the 2006 World Cup and was a one of England's best players in Germany. His performances encouraged Ferguson to fork out £17million in the summer of 2007 to sign him from Bayern Munich, where he won four German titles as well as a European Cup medal in 2001. But his football nightmare began at the start of his second season with United when tendinitis, which first struck at Munich, deteriorated badly. Not even the skills of famed Colorado knee specialist Richard Steadman could find a cure. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...l#ixzz1N2LcOjKL |

Gary, VDS, Hargreaves, and maybe Scholes as well long with Brown.
That's some experience we gonna miss next season. It would trim our wages as well too. Good luck to Hargreaves. He should join Everton. Maybe like Saha, he would magically be fit for half a season at least. |

QUOTE(calvin_yit @ May 22 2011, 04:20 PM) gonna wait till a better source comes out on hargreaves be4 believing he will be gone this summer. If i remember correctly, the dailymail is the same site which said we had agreed a deal for de gea sometimes ago in february.......and still we get no confirmation of that. Maybe just some bullshet journalism. It's all about the quotes. Mostly if they have them directly, 99.9% sure it's true. It's directly from SAF. If got quotes and doesn't name a source, like an unnamed staff at the club/source close to the club, then most likely it's bullshit. |

No need to be on official side if the quotes are directly from SAF's mouth.

Hargreaves to leave United QUOTE Owen Hargreaves will not be offered a new contract by Manchester United after his injury hell of the last three years. The former England international has seen his Old Trafford career wrecked by tendinitis in both knees and has been able to make just two fleeting outings in the last two seasons and only three in the campaign prior to that. Having signed a four-year contract after arriving from Bayern Munich in a £17million deal in July 2007, the 30-year-old is now on the lookout for a new club. Sir Alex Ferguson admitted it was a tough call to make but had little option but to show the versatile midfielder the door. Ferguson told the Mail on Sunday: "This has been a difficult decision knowing how hard the lad has worked to win back his fitness. "But we have made it in the hope he will be able to resurrect his career elsewhere." http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6944741,00.html |

If that Varane kid sign, he won't have to be named in the 25 man squad list as well.
We got 13 HG players in there right now. |

It would have no bearing on the team line up. Outside stuff doesn't matter much unless if affects the performance of him on the pitch. And he, SAF and the rest of the team must have known already about it. So I don't see it as a problem. But the press will make sure to create a distraction before the final. Whatever happens, I expect it to be magnified 100 times over after the final and they will use the result of the game to further hammer Giggs.

QUOTE(onepack @ May 26 2011, 05:46 PM) SAF rarely tell who we gonna or not gonna signs Most likely Utd already have spoken to him and likely already know what decision he has given us. After all we don't have much time to make moves since VDS is retiring. De Gea is just taking his time to announce it.recent revelation of united going for de gea could only mean 2 things 1. united really interested in de gea and trying to lure him in.. pancing dulu. 2. to cover some other stories.. maybe both.. unsettle de gea for lower transfer fee and cover stories at the same time.. serampang 2 mata!! |

QUOTE(selangorclay @ May 26 2011, 07:31 PM) De Gea is good but he is also too young. if he makes a few mistakes when standing between our posts the media will shear him apart. It'll be the same even if the guy is rated as one of the worlds best around and is near 30 years old. See VDS at Juve, Barthez with us... there's no guarantee they would be successful no matter what age they are. Cech, Reina, Buffon, Cassilas.. we just have to take the pill, swallow it and see what effects it might have.i prefer the older and more established Stekelenburg. he is also taller and looks stronger. standing up he looks like having the best qualities of schemeichel and van der sar. |
