I'm able to shift using the paddle shift from 5th to 6th.. only nt able to do this using the gear knob.. sad.gif

Hmm.. I tried that before and I was not going that fast below 100kmph (At Sunway, how fast can you go? lol). No issues shifting to 6th gear though. Let me try that again at low speed using gear knob, I'll update you here later.

Someone shared this link earlier in this thread, they have tons of photos of Forte with bodykits. Take a look! smile.gif

I bought something from this blogspot and spoke to the person in charge there (Nick), very friendly guy. They have some good bodykits too..

Tested d, I can change gear from 5th to 6th gear using gearknob at 60kmph also.. Tried a lot of times n still can change.. I think ur problem is not normal..

Probably u should bring back to service center to check and c. Were u able to change at 80-100kmph?

I just got my new forte sx 4 days ago.

Now my car got squeaking and rattling noise from the dashboard, the driver door panel and from the boot ( which i suspect the sound comes from the plastic that use to fold the back seat )

I check from the forum apparently it is a very common in forte.

Anyone encounter such unlucky incident like me?

It is very depressing considering it is a new car ...

Greetings, does anyone know if our forte's bluetooth functionality is limited to answer/reject phone call and stream music from phone only? what about accessing phonebook of phone and make a call or control media player of phone via bluetooth like ford fiesta?

it is limited, only US version can do like ford fiesta...there's one thing you can do is to dial the number you want from your phone and let your car's bluetooth integration handle the rest..it'll go thru the speakers..as long as your phone is connected to your car's bluetooth then it'll work just like how you answer/reject a call. a bit more troublesome but works nonetheless.
