Maybe this month not enough of sales, wanna close deal asap tongue.gif
Thanks for the analysing guys.
Anyway, you guys think that all dealers out there offer same thing?
Right now they only give out GPS worth 300+-
Other than that, nothing else. Or issit just that salesman wanna earn the max out of the profit  shocking.gif
*
wen to naza showroom juz now to test drive.. too bad, boss nt around.. so cant test drive..
but the salesman let me sit inside the forte2.0 and intro me the functions/etc..
seem like now it got 10 air bag instead of 6... one funny thing is, the sales man said that when wanna shutdown the engine, need to off the airconf first.. blink.gif

then ask about the price.. it's around 98k.. but he didn't mention about any discount/free gift/etc.. hmm.gif

got my chance to test drive the 2.0 juz now.. it's juz a short drive and the funny thing is.. they juz take a new car n put temporary plate n off we go... doh.gif
cant really test out the car much since it's like 10 mins rounding nearby the kulim area..

the price is 97.8k and salesman say no discount/etc.. only will give the kia logo, door visor/etc.. sad.gif

but the salesman say they have ready stock for all color except for red n black.. hmm.gif

then he got mention about tinting voucher or somethin.. i say if i get the car, i'll tint it myself..
then he said if i do this. it will void the warranty... rclxub.gif
anyone can verify this?

nonsense. tinting will never void any car's warranty..i think he is saying that so that you can use the tint voucher and he will get commission from the shop. This is just standard text-book scare tactics to get in more money, i suggest you do NOT deal with this SA and deal with someone else. This SA is not trustworthy at all.
*
this is also what i think.. thts y i'm asking here for confirmation..
besides.. i think the sales man really sucks.. dunno how to intro the car properly..

btw.. does forte comes with the child seat anchor or somethin?
forgot what it's called d.. somethin that we can used to secured the child seat with it..

hi shadow,
which shop u went? beside nasmir?
regarding the tinting: that is just ridiculous... no way put tint will void our warranty... (unless if during installation, poor workmanship damage any part of your car which i think most probably will not happen)  smile.gif
*
yup.. the naza showroom beside nasmir.. u from kulim too?
or u hv any better place recommend me to go?

he said that installing tint required the installer to remove the door panel/etc..
this will void the warranty/etc... sweat.gif

btw.. i wen to the nissan showroom too to check out the livina 1.8..
pricewise, almost same with forte 2.0.. interior, a bit basic... not really my liking..

yes, i'm from kulim  smile.gif

i bought my car from there too.. but i have to admit some SA there not competent enough for me to recommend + lack of free gift (i only got fuel full tank). but since my home just nearby with the showroom, i decided to buy there... easy to find them if any problem happen (i love to 'bug' them) wink.gif

but i know their senior manager, as well their maintenance boss after few visits there after got my car... got chance to test drive forte koup too...  rclxms.gif

regarding the tint, i went to accessories shop to install and indeed they need to remove door panel.. but my SA never said anything bout this would void my warranty even though i informed him i already installed tint from 3rd party  icon_rolleyes.gif

if u don't mind, maybe u could give another try... tell u the truth, u won't regret getting 2.0 forte if your don't have any problem to buy car with that price range  thumbup.gif

try contact Eric, senior manager there.. or perhaps my SA, Zainal... i can pm u their contact no. if u want smile.gif
*
thanks for the info.. the salesman juz now only offer me a full tank of petrol + those useless things..
no offense, but i dun prefer cosmetic changes/etc on car..

i'm currently stayin in kulim too.. thts y i think it's ok to get from there since it's nearby..
if not.. i think nearest shld be in pg, rite..

98k still affordable for me.... but seem like the loan is a bit on the high side..
juz now he told me the best loan offer is like 2.8 or 2.9%...

I didnot come across any Forte brochure nor any specs sheet stating about this feature for Malaysian Forte. & i cant find any ISOFIX anchor on my forte's seat either, be it at the rear or front seat. So, AFAIK, no ISOFIX for our Forte.

During my time last year, i managed to get 2.9% from Maybank. Consider it a good rate already. Affin bank offered even lower, 2.8% that time, but i chose Maybank instead for payment convinience... wink.gif
*
thanks. i also search around the net, seem like forte doesn't comes with it.. sad.gif

does forte 2.0 really hv ready stock? the salesman in kulim told me they hv it except for black n red..
not sure how trust able is this..

or find another guy coz the earlier guy service/etc nt really that good..
he keep on promoting the car pros only like how silence is the cabin/etc..

U better find a more competent SA with good customer service. Incompetent SA will not help u much especially when they already got your money. This happen to me last time...

this is what i'm thinkin too... any way to check whether they are competent or nt?

At least he should well-versed regarding all the features & specs of the car that he is selling & know well all the necessary procedures needed especially if it involve trade-in. Also, it would be great if he can answer some basic on the technical part of the car & know the estimated date of car arrival. Good SA should also guide & ease their customer in buying a car..not mess them up. Those are some of my own criteria for a good SA..but unluckily, i chose a 'not so good' SA also coz i'm quite rushing last time to book this car  doh.gif
*
i dun think he really know much about the car features/etc..
there is this button showing a car with the winding road (nt sure how to describe it).. i ask him what is this for..
he said it's used when u r riding yr car down from genting or something only need to use..
then i ask him.. normal time cant use? he say can also.. if i wan..

thts y i say he not that competent..
think of finding some other SA.. but i scared later he beh syok n sabo my car... sad.gif

It's your right anyway to choose your SA. Perhaps u can contact Mr. Zainal as recommended by bro titan-x. Else, u might go a bit further to Penang if u willing to. U can also PM bro shamsul_LP to ask for his recommendation. He's from Kulim also if i'm not mistaken.

but now, he said 2.8 is very low d.. he ask others like rhb n pbb, also 2.8 n 2.89..
rclxub.gif

how long, he also cant answer me since the KL side also cant give him the answer..

How long is the waiting time? And do you need to pay the loan before you get the car?

he cant answer how long i need to wait.. coz even KL HQ don't hv the answer..
then i ask.. how can they answer like this since they sure have some planning/etc 1, right?
then he said he also dunno coz KL cant give him the ans too.. rclxub.gif

i think the loan only will start once I got the car gua..
but i didn't ask him much on this..

1st question is not big concern(if you got a car already) but 2nd question I asked is a big concern....
*
guess i'll talk to him again.. coz I'm goin to trade in my wife's old car to him..
i dun mind to wait for few weeks, but not like few months..

just wonder whether what he told me about the "unknown period of waiting time" is somethin true or bullshiting me..
