Max Allegri or David Moyes, both available lol Btw Prandelli and FIGC president Abete resigned after last night match. Who will be the best candidate for Azzurri next coach? but in all seriousness...i would love to watch Carletto as the national team coach..that man has the 'cup tournament' specialist written as his middle name This post has been edited by noir7559: Jun 25 2014, 02:56 PM |

QUOTE(skystrike @ Jun 25 2014, 12:49 PM) del piero Agreed bout balotelli being overrated, he is good but his attitude is problematic n he is lacked of passion. Guisepe rossi is arguably the best italian striker but he is just too injury prone.totti roberto baggio back then italian striker is among the best in the world.... balotelli is overrated n lazy.....immobile not good enough....same with cassano too... |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Jun 25 2014, 08:41 AM) all i can say is that was the worst match during the group stage, or atleast the most dull 1st half in this year world cup as for what went wrong. I think it goes down to both tactical and team mentality Using 3-5-2 but didn't utilize the wingbacks. Always try to force the attack from the middle where Uruguay stack atleast 7-8 players to contain the attack including Cavani. And then the never-ending poor long ball passes towards balotelli & immobile which both are rather invisible or ineffective last night as for the mentality bit. Italy looking to play for a draw. And play for a draw they did..at the end it came back to bite em..no pun intended. Good for em Should've utilized Darmian and Candreva attacking from the wings the first match. Dayum, heart-breaking for me to take, we're out so fast. I was banging for us to at least reach semis. |

Balotelli is still the best Italian striker.
If he had scored against CR he would have been a hero. He was unlucky. c'est la vie |

I have a feeling they might tempt Conte to join...or maybe we'll see a return of Donadoni?

As a Italy fan I have to admit that Italy deserves to go out after those lackluster performances.
The problem now is who is available to be the next Italy manager. Those available ones are horrible to say the least: - Roberto Mancini (Was lucky to win the Serie A. Was rather lucky as well to win the BPL on goal differences considered the amount of top talent he had at his disposal. Is horrible at cup competitions) - Luciano Spaletti (Famous for inventing the strikerless aka false 9 formation while he was at AS Roma. Won some titles with Zenit. A manager who favours attacking play till defense is secondary to him. With him I am afraid Italy might score 3 concede 7. Remember AS Roma's 7-1 defeat at Old Trafford?) - Maximilliano Allegri (A horrible manager whom won a single Serie A with Milan. Comparing him to both Mancini and Spaletti will make the both of them look like Guardiola and Mourinho) - Fabio Capello (An ass whom declared before that he will not manage Italy. Clearly WAS a top manager. He is past it) - Antonio Conte / Carlo Ancelotti (not a chance in hell) - Fabio Cannavaro (A former player with 0 experience in management) Who? Who? all options are lousy |
