Guys i got fast question .

i help my fren root his sgs . Then install clockworkmode . but found out it has 3e recovery . What should i do?

his build number is froyo.dxjpe and baseband I9000DXJPB .

alright thx . meet to different sgs . last time i root and install custom room within 5 mins . this one i root took almost one hour ( gingerbreak and z4root dint work) got to use superoneclickroot . then after install rom manager and install cwm got 3e recovery . 

Im using Darky 10.1 but i don't know what was wrong with my battery life... when im sleep, my battery drop to 55% from 97%... when i check my battery status it show Maps using 55% & Android OS is 29%... anyone know how to solve it?

Btw i think Tweaky ROM is the best for battery life..

if you flashed stock rom and CF kernel, why is Darky CWM there?

True...but that prob indicates I've either screwed up the flashing or that it's not very optimized. Thinking about giving CM7 a try. Does it drastically change the touchwiz look?

Just checked mine, it says 41% Used by Maps but i never turn on Maps the past 1 week!! think i better restart the phone. the battery drain comes on and off, really annoying.

edit : i'm amazed by the apps that been offered to iphone though, like for example Grey's Anatomy app. had to borrow my friends ip4 to do some quick revisions and i can say it feels wow and its like i'm looking all the details like the ones in my books. hopefully someday Android market will provide some good apps like that.

Just use Fugumod kernel with DXJV9..feel abit fast but Quaddrnt score just only 900+.

im stucked in the recovery mode now , there are some error after i tried to flash rom using odin . My home button spoilt already, how do i get into download mode without the home button ?

Not sure I want to stay on GB.  See absolutely no advantage over Froyo.  I thought it might fix my GPS but it did not.  Battery on GB use up a lot even on standby Airplane mode.

Anyone can recommend a good custom rom base on froyo?  Is stock froyo with speed fix ok?

Antenna gate problem happens in low signal area and is easily solve with a case which almost everyone use one anyway. 

Apple only release one phone a year and so far their strategy works well.  With just 1 phone in the market, they manage to capture the largest market share beating out all the rest of the manufacturers that have dozens of models line up at any one time. 

There is a reason for everything and apple did not achieve all that success due to luck or product hype.  Most Andriod fans hate the iphone because of certain limitations apple put on the iphone, but the truth is that iphone is still the most simple phone to operate and has the best collections of apps in any phone, and that is just what most users need.

Enough about this iphone comparison.  For me I just want my SGS work work well for me and I am still searching for that firmware.

CM7 rockx~ the fastest rom i'd ever use!   like im using a new phone
the only thing i dont like is the calling function, i can't type name to get the contact tat i want to call

hi guys, does chainfire 3D support in CM7?
i had installed chainfire 3D apk, then click install its driver n reboot. Next i install the nvidia plugin.
after done these installation, i try to play samurai 2 but it say the device is not support 
i have no problem with other rom~ or for CM7 i need to do something extra?
pls advise 

just pair it with a stable rom, and NOT ANY darky rom, darky rom is SUPER intelligent, each time you in critical time and want to do something it just know to freeze it self, it just f***ing great.

Just flashed the CM7 secret build last night but now the FULL-15 build just came out....can't really find the change log,  any comment on what has this Full-15 brings....
P/S :  If I upgrade now does it means I have to do the settings all over again?

you remind me of my old self when I first got my phone. i'm so angry with Samsung. come to think of it, I sounded a bit childish and immature. but now, I love Samsung so much. can't live without it.

I honestly think that you just need more experience. then, you'll be happy.

for now, stop comparing Apple to Samsung, iphone to SGS, etc. we don't really want to hear that. seriously.
